I think people are hating on this because it doesn't sound like the original high pitched one but Ashe makes the meaning a little different in a way. As in, when I listen to this, I feel sadness and pain in the lyrics and Ashe gives it a dark undertone and I can feel it creeping into my very soul. So, well done Ashe! I haven't had a song creep into my soul before. It feels strange but it fills me with a Fangirl pleasure.
