I think the meaning of this song lies in the fact that most people see vocaloid as tools, and with the next update each vocaloid version is discarded. As soon as something better comes up, that person is thrown away. It seems as if they've gotten used to it, as if it's happened to them their whole life, but still tells the listener, you, "I am more than what you see." And "I will show you what I can be." They haven't given up on hope that the listener will recognize that they are a human too, and will treat them like one. Or they are desperately grasping to not be thrown away again, to actually have some value so that they will not be discarded.

I've got this weird idea that the song is from Luka's perspective as an older voicebank with a really late reboot that got a lot of criticism. This is the probably the last we'll see of her for a while, as far as another update goes. Vocaloid isn't really as popular as you think in the west (not including the small population that we are and the anime-loving population) and, with a few exceptions, are not deemed "understandable" to many people. This doesn't mean that they are, it's just they are not really used to the "accent" we have grown accustomed to hearing and love (not "clear" English as I hear some first-timers, but an enforced attempt with satisfactory, though this is many times proven to not be true. I am a fan of Cyber Diva and I still have a hard time understanding her sometimes, even when she sounds as real as a person I am conversing with but, over time, I could understand her, even when unclear). Even so, people prefer to hear music in the terms of something that is over-spiced with rhythm, something they can dance to, with no expressive form of deep emotion and chock full of catchy lyrics (most of the time simply speaking drugs, alcoholism, and deeming lustful desire as "love"). Again, this may not be true for a selected few songs but true for the rest. Circus is amongst the many producers that fill their songs with that missing piece of sentimentality and that uplifting beat and should have more recognition but, like I said, a lot of people don't know about this other amazing genre of music. Though it would be pretty cool to have a station only playing Vocaloid :-D

I don't know why, but this song always reminds me of my experiences with nonbinary dehumanisation. The amount of times people will treat me as what I appear on surface level ("I am more than what you can see!") and how they always start acting like I'm a robot or a shell when I explain who I really am to them ("I'm a broken frame, I'm just fun and games").
