To me this song is about being so "in love" with someone that you become dependant or "addicted" to them. They become your life, you "shut out the whole world" that's around. "This isnt healthy". "Im REPULSED by the way you keep me HOOKED on this GAME". The other person knows your weakness and your default state of dependence and they take advantage of that. The "I cant speak, I cant breathe/think" part refers to having freak outs or panic attacks because youre so afraid to lose this person youve become so "bewitched" by and "obsessed" with. It really does feel like you're "hanging on by a thread" when this person threatens to leave. And the line that really makes me believe this is "I cant live without you". It really does feel like if you lose this person you will literally die. Even if you realize it's bad for you you still think you NEED them to survive. Just like any other addiction. 9 year old song I listened to ageeees ago during childhood, but despite obvious stalker girl vibes it sounds like the one the affection is about is actually feeding into some sort of mental illness this girl has knowing that she has it to intentionally screw with her head. Aka some sort of toxic cycle the girl knows is wrong but can't escape because they keep dragging her back into an unhealthy cycle. Making neither of them in the right.
