same. i started listening to vocaloid around 2018, and i discovered powapowap a few months ago. i love his music so much. but then i found out he took his life, and begun to see the real depressing meaning behind it. samfree has made some of my favorite songs, promise is so calming to me and i love it so much, and when wowaka passed away i was extremely sad

For me it was ryo who initially sparked and recently re-lit my love for Vocaloid with "World is Mine". I didn't have much of a connection to other artists as I was 11 years old when I last listened to Vocaloid regularly of sorts (2016) and back then I just didn't bother with researching stuff. Then just a few hours ago when trying to find out the name of "DUNE" (cuz I forgot, first heard the song 9 months ago) and looking into the deeper meaning of the lyrics, I rediscovered "ubnubmaster" and watched a few of his videos which I haven't watched before. After that I learned about the death's of samfree, powapowaP and Wowaka. So I decided to look into their songs because I might remember some of their songs (remembered powapowaP and Wowaka as producer names but no more). After I listened to powapowaP - "Strobe Last" I instantly recognozed the song from a few years back which made me feel a bit nostalgic. Once again being remembered of his age when passing (20) and putting the lyrics of the song into context genuinely got me crying for a few minutes. I'm heartbroken.

Samfree and Wowaka's deaths are the ones that impacted me the most as I used to listen to their songs almost 24/7 back when I was 13/14 in my Vocaloid crazed days. I'm turning 20 this year and am still feeling the bittersweetness from their deaths. Rest in peace, every single person mentioned in this video. Thank you for spreading happiness and good music throughout the world :)

I still listen to PowaPowa-P's songs all the time, he's still one of my favorite producers. Knowing he struggled in his battle against depression whilst making songs to move others like him really hits me hard in my emotions. I love listening to Wowaka's songs too, from Rolling Girl, to And I'm Home from PMMM which I spent a good chunk of time listening to over the years. I hope they rests in peace, along with everyone else who passed. :(

When I was at my lowest I tended to listen to powapowa. His music struck a special cord and it always made me feel a bit calmer. The music itself never magically made me happy but it did help me to fully experience all of the emotions that I couldn’t really feel in a way that wouldn’t have me in a dangerous place. I shut down emotionally at around age 11 and once I hit 14 and I got out of the situation I was in the weight of all of the trauma and the pent up emotions came crashing in. I was still emotionally an 11yo and it all took a toll on my social skills as well as my ability to properly understand and work through my emotions. I have developed seizures and severe depression/anxiety because of it but thankfully my school counselor noticed and got me to seek professional help. My school counselor saved my life. I was extremely suicidal just last year way far past my last straw. Things are better now but it’s overwhelming and sad to look back to say the very least. It hit really hard to see he had died.

I'm glad you're in a better place now. Please remember there are people who will listen to you, even if you feel like there is no one. There are people who struggle with the same feelings and I'm glad some Vocaloid songs can at least send that message to people: your feelings are shared by others.

Siinamota’s music impact me still today. I discovered him the day before he passed. Hearing his songs along with his self covers really makes my heart sing along in sadness. The songs that remind me most about him are Astronauts and Okawari wo Doozo. They are poetic and they open us outsides to how he sees life. May he and the others rest in peace.

samfree and wowaka are the two vocaloid producers who i will deeply miss the most, as they are the one who made me fell in love with their Vocaloid songs while wowaka went to become hitorie and i had listened to both Vocaloid and his hitorie songs that he was part of a vocalist. samfree, on the other hand, had a unique night series that he produced that involves more of an Eurodance and everyone will fondly remember of him

Samfree, Siinamota, and Wowaka’s death had truly hurt me the most. I loved so many of their songs, only to now have realized they’re gone. Siinamota’s songs remind me of how struggling life can truly be, and how it feels to give up. Wowaka’s songs are like Siinamota’s. They really do show how struggling with depression can be hard, and quite literally the most difficult experience. Samfree’s songs make me feel that there truly is purpose, and meaning in life. Making me feel happy, knowing that purpose will be there. I couldn’t be more thankful for the producers. Thank you to Samfree, Siinamota, and Wowaka for living. Rest in eternal peace.
