Hi TLBGs (The Left-behind generations) The first thing that caught my attention was the similar percussion rhythm it shares with Dizzy Paranoia Girl. Considering the themes of both songs presented in the lyrics, I can't help but wonder if there might be an overlap between both of the narrators. In contrast to DPG, this song is slower and more mellow. I'd also say that this song comments on 'society as a whole' that is unlike DPG, which is more personal. (LBG uses more 'we/us/our'; DPG has none and rather focusses on I/me/my) Of course, it can be a coincidence instead of a conscious lyrical choice, but the way DPG addresses herself makes it personal, while LBG comments on the issue at large, giving 'we're the victims, we're at fault'. More mindless mumblings sooner or later, but I headcanon Eleanor and Teto as classmates in an advanced class, both wasted potentials, burnt out, disillusioned. Teto is involved in the scene to distance herself from academic anxieties (Expectations high from the start / I'll just mess it up; no cure for burnt out and naïve), and Eleanor looks like she's staying behind in the classroom studying, she's so done with everything but she knows that students has to abide by the 'rules' (deem her dreams inessential / ...keep our hate confidential; we close our eyes / breathe out a sigh / too weak to wish / this world goodbye) if she wants to get ahead. Tldr they share the common motif of gifted kid burnout, the world is against us, but what sets them aside is the differing attitudes + coping mechanisms. (The desks are reminiscent of The Lost One's Weeping) I might be projecting a bit too much...

Oh dear. I got so sucked into this song that I now have an OC animation started using this song. I’m already halfway through the thumbnailing, and will probably be onto the next step by tomorrow. Well, if I had to hyperfixate on anything rn, I’m glad it’s this. Man, this is such a good song, and I vibe with it so much. I'm currently in high school, and I have severe difficulties with the mere act of putting in a little effort. It's crippling, how hard it is to care and try and do anything. And some teachers are good, and they try to help, though it doesn't usually amount to much. My autism and my tendency to default to "I'll deal with it myself, no need to bother them" doesn't help. But some teachers, it feels like are trying to screw me over, occasionally even feeling like they're actively targeting me. It's a nightmare, and the administration is often part of the issue, rather than being any help. Like, some of the stuff that happens is why education has such negative connotations here in the US. Because education is linked to school, and school is often a complete nightmare for many kids, doubly so for neurodivergent kids like me, and I'm naturally liked by my fellow student and naturally good at tests. I suffer from the administration and teachers alone, and it's unpleasant. It's so much worse for so many of my fellows, because they get bullied, or struggle with grades, and never get help. It's horrendous.

God, this is hard-hitting. Eleanor's voice has been one of my favourite synth voices in general, so great to see her be used with her melancholic tone, wonderful work Kat! You used Eleanor's lower voice range so beautifully here, I couldn't imagine a better voice for this song! I feel you with the subject of this song, I had similar problems along with my parent not believing I was neurodivergent besides trauma, and she refused to believe I was "defective" (in her words...) One of the few SynthV/Vocaloid songs recently to strike such a strong chord with me, and thank you for that. Losing passion for everything, even things one used to enjoy when one was young is so painful, and seeing everyone seamlessly integrate into their own individual lives without any issue makes one feel even more of a 'freak', or 'failure'. I hope you're doing well Kat, you're such a talented artist and producer, I've been following your works since SPA, and you've been making banger after banger since- this is probably my favourite from you so far. I personally went from being almost put into a gifted class as a kid (2nd grade) to faking illness by the time I was 13/in grade 6-7 due to how miserable I was, and the material I was given in homeschooling afterwards made me break down because I couldn't learn it no matter how hard I tried, and I was blamed for this.... Now without even proper diagnosis yet I'm having to throw myself into the world alone due to my home life getting worse, without being taught how to even live like this...or manage anything, but considered a burden due to not knowing this somehow..I'm glad to see you made your way out of the other side of it though, Kat, and I wish you nothing but further success in the future. 💙🤍

I'm just about to start college classes. I have ADHD, anxiety, and think I may be autistic. I had started therapy early this year because I was having trouble with motivation and purpose. I've always had self-confidence, but had terrible anxiety and didn't have a lot of self-love. These lyrics are hitting me so much harder than I ever expected. I have never connected with something as much as I have with this song. There are tears in my eyes. Once again you have created a masterpiece.
