When my brother died, this was my "song/prayer" for him... guess I can't really call it a formal psalm, but it really was my heart-song for the loss, what I tried to send for him. It's hard to explain, but in singing it, it felt like he also sent the same sentiment back to me. It's a long life, to carry grief all your adult days, all the way through life. I know I'm not the only one. Hope this song helps anyone in grief in their healing and holding the strength to carry on, and enjoy the joy of life. Just as our loved ones would have wanted.

There’s a lovely story on what came first, the musical note, or a human singing voice. I imagine it’s that lair where divinity touches humanity. Imagine being the first humans to sing and then align to a sound they feel throbbing from within. To match a tone of this deep mighty presence. To then flash forward where those have passed it on, and schooling and academia became part of it and now it’s a mastery. I agree. The human voice is probably thee most touching instrument or power. It’s inexpressible.

Love in all its manifestations conquers evil, because it is the creative force. Fear not. It is the way the universe is constructed. The greatest challenge is to respond to those in fear ( of losing power over others) with love. I think the crescendo is really around the 2:30 mark. The whole piece is incredible, but at the 2:30 mark, it just ascends to the heavens. I would love to hear this live. I bet you could hear a pin drop at the finish, right before the crowd burst into applause.

Oh, my heart, this is simply sublime! The tall woman's voice is absolutely brilliant, clear like a forest brook. Marvelous rendition!

It almost feels like the Valar themselves are singing as they watch the journey from above, asking Sam and Frodo not to lose hope.

I saw this, and thought, who dare think they can cover this song. I was humbled, every note impeccable, the baritones exceptional, the lead did not embellish or put her own twist on it, this is a cappella perfection.

It's 2024, and I've just stumbled across this video and I am just floored by how beautiful this was to listen to. I've had a rough couple of weeks, but this song made me feel comfort which is something I've needed.
