Just goes to show how versatile this group is! The contrast between their classical performing and their vocal jazz is such a stark difference, and in such a good way! VOCES8 is certainly one of the greatest vocal ensembles to exist today.

Going from your usual (and always magnificently beautiful) traditional repertoire to an totally unexpected, strikingly modern vocal jazz arrangement like this one is quite a welcomed surprise coming from you all. Your voices are absolutely 'perfect' for jazz (and that young baritone's solo was fabulously suave, like coming from a young and handsome Frank Sinatra), and you execute it so effortlessly as if you have been doing this successfully for many, many years. Truly, this was mind-blowing for me! Please...please...please offer more of these 'outrageously fine-tuned' and complex jazz arrangements, as I believe this opens-up a whole new jar of VOCES8 musical magic for all your faithful listeners (me included) who are hungry for more of these extra-fine performances.
