Oh Voddie, how true those words. Im 90, i am miserable that i can no longer, for several reasons, read the BIBLE. I listen to very few preachers, fortunately for me, you are one of them. I’m Eastern Orthodox Christian and it’s so refreshing to see a Protestant leader who’s not effeminate, cucked, and sold out to the social BS of modern society (LGBQT, wokeism, female clergy, etc.) Voddie really embodies what a Christian man should be: Robust, masculine, confident, well spoken, humble and well dressed. @@masimba5000 a sermon is speech about a religious topic. You only get out of it what you’re willing to get out of it. To an unbeliever, the things of God sound like foolishness, but to the true Christian they are Gods very words that breath life into us and cause conviction of sin. Sin separates us from God. We all sin so we are all guilty. We all lie, we’ve all stolen in some way, we’ve all had inappropriate thoughts. The punishment for sin is death according to the law. Jesus paid the penalty for sin when He died on the cross. We stand before God, the ultimate judge as guilty. But when you trust in Jesus, he literally pays our fees and charges so to say, so that we don’t have to.

I've been struggling with my faults, trying to everything I know and I've been in a ditch on one side or the other always failing and wondering why. I understand now that I am hemmed in with no to go. Romans 7:13-25 makes perfect sense now o wretched man that I am, who will deliver me from this body of death. Thank you Lord God for your grace for without it I am without hope. It's time for me to realize I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places and concentrate on that, for that is the only way to walk in this earth according to the spirit not the flesh. I just discovered Dr. Voddie Baucham today afternoon! Already listening to him. A breathe of fresh-air. I enjoyed this sermon and the way he articulated this complex issue. Interesting that at 38:06, Dr. Baucham quoted the Council of Trent's...Canon 6 & 11. He goes on to point out that these teachings, plus other evangelical teachings, do not preach the same Gospel. And, that Gospel is that unless we understand the nature of our depravity, then we understand the mechanism towards our salvation through God's grace. Understanding the nature of our depravity will also help us to understand the spiritual warfare, that our physical bodies are fighting against. Thanks so much for this! 🙏🏾

The so-called pleasures of this world hold no attraction for me. The Holy Spirit of God is all consuming - and I am consumed completely. My every thought is about Him - His complete and total awesomeness - my absolute love and devotion to Him. I am of the original Woodstock generation. The rock giants of the 60’s and 70’s that I grew up with and the great muscle cars that I loved so much find no place with me anymore. I have absolutely no desire for anything of this world and this life. My only desire is to praise Him - to worship Him - to serve Him - to bring honor and glory to Him in whatever small way I can through my little life - my mundane, invisible life. I have nothing - yet I have everything. I am overflowing. He is my life. Without Him there is no life. He is life. When you come to that point in your life when you finally see there is nothing else - only God - you know - you absolutely know for certain that you are in Him and He is in you. Praise God!

When I did a personal bible study of the 10 Commandments, that's when I understood how bad I needed a Savior and a was sooooo thankful God opened my eyes 👀 to my sinful nature and why I have to study daily to keep my flesh in subjection to God's Word. As I grow in my salvation, the Holy Spirit in this man has made me understand what my salvation means. What being saved means. I'm glad God sought me out even as far born, as far as I dwelled and grew in sin He saved me. Jesus is my Lord and personal saviour. I love you Yahweh. Around 4:50 speaking of the Holy Trinity, Never could grasp it until Father gave me a revelation maybe just to grasp it? “Let us make man in our own image in our own likeness” phrasing.. Father. Son, The Holy Spirit= were made in His image/Likeness The flesh (Christ God was manifested into the flesh) our soul (The Father we can’t see Him but we know His ways His plan His personality. (The Holy Spirit) our spirit that belongs to God. We can never see The Holy Spirit but we can feel it and we can also be gifted with discernment of spirits through The Holy Spirit (we are made as The Holy Trinity)

I worship in The Seventh Day Adventist church, the only church that teaches to believe and obey The Whole Bible. Jesus himself wrote The Ten Commandments; how can it be possible not to believe it!! Exodus 31:18, 32:16. It's written; in heaven we will be worshiping on The Sabbath Day, Isaiah 66: 23. And what about Revelation 12:17, and 22:24. How can people be soon blind? The power of the enemy; Matthew 13:25,,28, Luke 10:19. Anybody can preach 90% truth, and 10% lies, It's written, the devil will transform himself in an angel of light, 2 Corinthians 11:14,15,16.
