If you ask me, it was a year of Hermitcraft that most of us who missed Iskall on the server who felt betrayed and let down by him! Since season 4, I have been watching Iskall, and I've been seeing him grow as a Hermit. Now, he has gone from a lovely and kind hermit into some rude and nonchalant bully! Beef was genuine mad at Iskall for what he did, and Iskall just laughed like a scilly child at Beef. And you think highly about that person who is messing with people who have a tight time frame with recording?

Hermit interactions were by far my favorite bits of content in each episode in season 6 and 7, and I feel like that's what's been missing in season 8 and 9. Pranks and just all-around shenanigans are what made HC this special for me those 6 years ago and I couldn't be happier to see more of this stuff! Season 10 is starting off amazing!

Wasn't season 8 one of the seasons which had hermit interactions left and right? Almost all episodes from about half the hermits had some major collaborations.

It sarted off great but as more focus was put on the "lore" and "story telling" it didnt feel the same. It happened both with s8's Moon Big and s9's King Ren and Empires crossover. I'm glad that Iskall is trying to "keep it real" this season because I actually ended up skipping the second half of s9 as it kind of felt weird (I still watched Doc tho, I love my goatman to bits)

Ok so for me this is the first season of hermitcraft that I'm actively watching. Until recently I've only ever seen a video or two of Mumbo/Grian. i have to say, i'm really impressed how good of a liar iskall is. to come up with so many excuses and false explanations in an instant, even really believable ones, and considering what he knows about the other person, thats is a social skill indeed. one of many that make him a well rounded improviser. and knowing iskall long and well, one can be sure he means no real harm, calculates the risks and comes clean later. cheers!
