@@ainaramiaumiau The thing is that dermatologists have been saying for years now that "clean" beauty isn't really a thing. It's mostly a scam. Yes you can choose vegan and cruelty free products, but makeup and skin care products are not toxic or dangerous. The worst that can happen is that you have an allergic reaction to a specific ingredient. This is why everytime I see a celebrity talking about "clean" beauty I tell people to please follow actual doctors on KZbin so you can properly educate yourself on ingredients and what they're used for.

It’s the same for products around the house, I use to think “oh I need to get ride of the bad stuff for clean brands“ but I found out years ago that NO I “use up” what I have and than can transition to other brands. No. Wasting Even water bottles, I have some plastic Yeah I may not be good and glass is better but I don’t want to buy a expensive glass bottle I rather I keep using my plastic bottle until it’s old than buy something better. Ashley is wonderful for remind us all. 👏🏼 but we also need to remind ourselves more haha

I totally agree with what ashley said about clean beauty- although the message is important, it can be inaccessible for so many due to how expensive it is and the overall quality of the products. Yet there seems to be a lot of pressure to be moving in the clean direction. I’ve got a few kosas products that I love, but also some drugstore ones as I’m a student on a budget, and that’s okay. Like she said so perfectly, it’s all about balance❤️
