We're using this pan made of narra woods since early days in rivers of mindanao. We an indigenous panners in here we can prove that you are realy true. We can place 3 shovels in it and it floats sometimes 4. This wood withstands more decades with no cracks as long as you keep it in a cool dry places no direct to sunlight.

At 4:36, Grizzly once again poses for the camera, looking majestic as frig... Love good old dogs, and Grizzly is definitely a good boy. I still think you should do an April Fools episode where you let Grizz pick the rocks and clumps of dirt, and work those. Cheers. Edit: oh, and Chris, been meaning to suggest, if a Batea pan is a little too shiny, hit up the inner surface with some cold bluing like birchwood casey. Provides a good contrast without making it too dark.

I went Friday for gold panning, I tried to work on the middle of the river, after a big rock, where the friction is happening (inspired by your last video). Dig - dig - dig and never reach the bottom. There was more than two feet of gravel. Tried on the bank and found my first Gold dust, hardly bigger than one hair. This boosted me, lol. If there is one, there is more !!! Returned yesterday and worked on the bedrock. It was fragmented and I did took off some rock pieces and carefully removed the clay that was there : I found a dozen of specks and my first picker ! Thank you for all the videos you made that help me in my quest.

I've been running Adblock plus for years now. I can handle an ad or two, but multiple ads on a 10 minute video is not on.
