Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.

WANTED: to check my creeks for gold. In NSW between Taree and Bulahdelah. A couple Klms at least of creeks with river gravel sitting on bed rock. Most can be driven up to. Have garret md and mini excavator (no nuggets so far) Want to buy highbanker with 2inch dredge but no one has stock!! Apparently gold was found here 100 years ago but could be BS. After 35 years we’re selling it and I want to check it first!!

There's nothing like the feeling of seeing a nice full pan!! I live in Brisbane and work in Nome Alaska every year on the Bering Sea as a Captain of a gold mining excavator dredge. We regularly test our material to make sure we're on the best gold possible and when you're seeing test pans with over 150 - 200 colors its such a rush!! Guys even camp out on west beach for the summer and do pretty good with their high bankers. Good to see there are some people doing it here. I had no idea it was a thing here.

Some very good points made at the end weigh up. They were having fun. Many of the TV gold hunting programs go on about achieving targets, recovering enough gold to cover fuel and machinery costs and make it worthwhile. All with flies, dust and snakes to contend with, while I'm at home watching them curse and suffer and order a few ounces through the post.

Hi Chris. I'm a big fan of your name btw. I had an idea I was playing around with that you might find interesting. 3d print a batea pan in black plastic. The natural ridges of the printing would be amazing for catching even more flour gold than a standard batea pan. Plus the black would show off the gold in detail. Just a thought.

Chris can I suggest a long bucket or deep tray to catch the finner gold that flows out the end of the sluice.. that you can pan when you get back home.. To collect more gold Absolutely love your video

It doesn't work that way, many people have suggested the same thing. However, all that happens is the dirt compacts and it all flows over. Its not really worth worrying about at these quantities anyway,
