Yeah nice I’m keen to get out this weekend I’ve been watching the Kiewa river that I live on and can’t prospect but it has just had a huge deposition of sand covering the gravel bars so other creeks may be the same just a couple days for the creek to shed some of the deposited lighter material 👌

Talking about erosion... Chris did you see what happened in British Columbia? Chilcotin river was damed up by a huge landslide over 33 meters tall and it created a 9km long lake and crested the dam a few days ago. Watch all the videos, it's amazing how Mother Nature rips apart mountains and concentrates gold.

Absolutely beautiful advice. This is going to be so helpful in identifying a spot to work if you're on a tight schedule. Sometimes I travel for hours only to get around 2 hours to work and some of that time is walking along the river, looking for the right place to start. This information may sound obvious to most people, but when I put myself under pressure, my decision-making suffers. I end up questioning and doubting everything that I know. That's mental health for you 🤷🏻♂️👍🏻⚒️🏴

Hey Chris great information and content once again you certainly know alot from getting out there and doing it. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to maybe do content about the rules for fossicking and prospecting in different states of Australia as i live here in SA and here there's only two places legally that we can fossick , Jupiter Creek and Mount Crawford for which you have to purchase a permit. From what i can gather we if I find Gold i can keep it as a specimen but can't cash it in as it belongs to the Government and the same goes with Tasmania not sure what Levi and Rob do about their finds in Tassie. Cheers mate and good luck with the gold .😊
