I know right! Wanshi is such a layered, complex character! He has such a charisma that I can't explain, and it is due greatly due to Corey. Also, the fact he is a doctor is what makes him even more great, he cares for this people, yet, he is also a warrior, he must appear strong

Watched the video. Corey COOKED. He understood him FULLY and I'm so happy he does that for his characters. What a god. If I had to choose, I would recommend Daman Mills for Watanabe since his patch is coming up. Such a Good casting choice.

Wow! This was incredible! 👏 I always likes Wanshis Voice but I never looked into his passed work. Now knowing that the was in Frieren as Land gives more reason to respect him. But speaking of Wanshi, I'd say nailed that character perfectly. Also what cool, wise dood. Really inspirational and chill. I hope and pray there will be more interviews like these in the future. 🙂I can't get enough of how English Dubbing has evolved and keeps evolving these past years, it's crazy! And glad that there are people like Gray Raven Radio who promotes the Eng Dub and give the spotlight to the talented people who worked on. In my opinion, there are still these so called _"JP supremacists"_ who trigger me and others because they still live in that _"JP dub is the only dub to listen to"_ prejudice if I can call that. So thank you again Gray Raven Radio for making people like Corey Wilder here shine. When Kuro first released English VA, Wanshi’s was one of the best, and my personal favorite. Corey Wilder is a really talented voice actor and actor. You can tell with how much work he put into his work as Wanshi. His in-depth knowledge of Wanshi’s lore shows in his interpretation. That’s why he is the best Wanshi voice compared to other VA languages.

Smh, that's how we got into the mess with all the wokies inserting their crap into various games. I'm not saying all English VA's are bad, but there is a reason why most people prefer Japanese VA's.
