BB Assistant slowish yes but at least it works and is mostly accurate. I agree with Lucas Siri voice recognition is more real-time and has an edge over BB Assistant. Google Now needs to go back to drawing board, looks like a voice enabled website and not even an app. Well done to BlackBerry, just needs speed and it will be on page with Siri

assistant works well but seems like its still in its infant stage in comparison to more matured siri and google now in terms of speed. they need to work on its speed and also stay within the assistant app when doing functions

Some of these are just a matter of phrasing. Different voice command systems will understand slightly different phrasing. For example, I said to Google Now: "Blackberry limited stock price", and it immediately told me the price. For another example, Google Now doesn't understand "tell", but it does understand "send text message to". Also, according to some sources, "Post to facebook", "Post to twitter", and "Post to Google+" work, though I couldn't get it to. That's the rough part of voice commands, that we all speak just a bit differently.

(If Windows Phone could still natively independently post to social networks this would be possible, but this functionality has been stripped out in 8.1 in an effort to provide a more familiar app-based experience to new adopters) Also, she can't delete calendar events or search the call history yet. She can do everything else demonstrated here at about the speed of Siri; however, sometimes the wording of the commands needs to be tweaked (i.e. text instead of tell & omit "Limited" when requesting the BB stock price).

I think the Blackberry win because it is better integrated into all type of communication and calendar. As you he pointed out, if you have all three phones behind a work firewall, blackberry would be the only phone that can call up all your contacts, messages, etc...as the iPhone and Android phone can not.

Been using BlackBerry Assistant for quite a while now and it's amazing! I wish I could try Cortana and Siri with my own hands. I know Siri is awesome and have heard a lot about Cortana too. Sorry Google, but Google Now/Voice just sucks! Been using it for the past few years and I just hate it. The good thing about BlackBerry is that it is able to work effortlessly Offline too. That's not the case with Google Voice.

Don't know what kind of "Google now" this guy is sporting but mine comes up instantaneously and with much more information than that. My texting and phone calls work flawlessly. Let's not forget that the model of phone being used is under scrutiny because not all android phones work the same on a hardware level and some may even pack a way better mic than what his android has unlike apple where all of that particular phone is one and the same. I am using a two year old Nexus 4 and it runs Google now like a boss. Just saying.

It really seems like you're clutching at straws to make the BB seem better. Even when Google Now and Siri were clearly winning. You're also highlighting a bunch of features on the blackberry that are extremely niche and only apply to a very small number of Enterprise users. That's great for Blackberry but it wasn't necessarily relevant when you just showed that Siri won the weather comp by a mile.

William M u will not be losing much when it comes to speaker quality with ur passport I have and m8 and I have a passport and I have many more I am also a phone nut I would list the one a I've used but it would take far too long ... the oneplus one's JBL stereo speakers ...OPPO find 7 wave stereo speakers .... blackberry passport and the htc one m8 are all very close in comparison however for loudness I gotta say the passport is Damn close to the loudest .....htc does have boom sound and it's definately rich but to say it's the loudest I think the passport is a bit more punchy when it comes to this department ..... either way u will not be disappointed in ur passport I actually went and bought a blackerry classic just because I loved the passport so much lol

I try the same test like you did with my blackberry passport, galaxy tab S and ipohne 5S and the result is for common things SIRI and IRIS are the winner, iris even do more fast and siri make some mistakes. BlackBerry assistant in the other hand only did perfect for business things.
