It’s the way Peter Cullen’s brother wanted Prime to be voiced. He said “if you’re gonna be a hero, be a real hero. Don’t be a Hollywood hero, screaming pretending you’re tough. Be strong enough to be gentle.” It’s the Bay movies that took that version of Prime and morphed him into this Hollywood bulls*it fake hero.

0:35 This right here kills me every time. The irony goes right over Ratchet's head and Optimus doesn't call him out on it, just simply states that they are literally no different. The Cybertronians are like a million times more technologically advanced compared to humans but they are embroiled in a war that would make any war on Earth seem like a small skirmish, even by Cybertronian standards. It's that moment of quiet reflection; that being more advanced doesn't make you better, just different.

I actually agreed with Ratchet. Prime views humans like woodland creatures. "Innocent." Humans are just as warlike as cybertronians. That's what Ratchet was trying to say. He wasn't wrong.

I think Optimus KNOWS very well that Humans can be agressive and destructive, but Ratchet saying that Humans are destructive as if they are even more destructive as Cybertronians as a species. You know Cybetronians, who had been embroiled in war that has lasted for MILLIONS of years, they have been at war for far longer than Humanity has even existed as a species. Ratchet claim that Humans are destructive and prone to fear is meant to tell Prime that Humans are worse than Cybertronians. When Cybertronians posses the same deplorable qualities Ratchet points out. In Optimus Prime eyes, Huaman are just Like Cybertronian, both posses good and bad traits, one is not better than the other, thus their life held the same value.

Here's the simplest take away I perceived: Ratchet: Prime, these humans are no different than we are. Stop putting them on a pedestal and start worrying about our own kind or else we'll all die.

@@ixiahj I got the idea because you mention that Optimus thinks humans are harmless woodland creatures. So with that analogy I inmediatly got thinking. Also they way I see Optimis choosing to use the Matrix to save Spike, I saw it as: "I had the power to save inocent lives, so I did" Like it could have been any other sapient in the same situation and Optimus would have still done it. It is fair however, that Ratchet is angry for Optimus puts other before him, because I guess that your argjment boils down to. That Optimus puts others always before himself, and slmetimes that puts him in danger. Also, something that definitively would have influence his descision was the fact that Decepticons are killing humans only to mentally mess with the Autobots, or because they just happend to be in the combat zone. Optimus would defintively feel responsible for the lives of the civilians that are kn danger because they happend to be caught in the middle of their millions of year long war.

@@shadowclaw7210 for me it was intended to be used inside a game after you completed the game, and gives you a new Optimus prime skin where you shoot out of the arm cannon (like how prime would shoot lasers out of his gun) and him using the energon mace as a way to replace the energon axe

It would be cool if this had happened in theaters On the Dark Side of the Moon, Optimus uses Megatron's Shotgum to destroy Sentinel, but it would be cool to see Optimus using this shotgun in the other movies. Other weapons that Optimus could pick up for himself would be the Primax Blade and the Cosmic Rust Gun of Sentinel that both have great potential, the Primax can transform into a normal sword or a double blade and the Rust Gun could destroy any Decepticonsor enemy robot is already seen its potential in the movie with the death of Ironhide, I think Optimus would use them as a reminder of what Sentinel was and what he taught him, of fighting for peace and freedom, before he betrayed himself. But it would be cool to see Optimus using these weapons in other films.

And the recasting of most of the Beast wars characters in KIngdom actively p*ssed me off. BW Megatron was reduced to an idiot fangirl kissing G1 Megs' skid plate.

@@queenbee2769 I chose those songs from the soundtrack of Legends of Chima primarily because it was one of my favorite LEGO themes back when it was still around, so when I found out that these tracks really helped emphasize the emotional impact of the scenes, (The Croc Swamp for Prime's argument with Rachet, and a slightly higher pitched version of the ending of Forever Rock for Cliffjumper grieving with Carly) I couldn't resist.
