I think I like Gabriel Iglesias the most despite his limited time with the character, I hope he comes back for more since he seemed genuinely excited to land the role. Though I like Dino Andrade and Fred Armisen too, the rest (even Mel) are okay to me and very inconsistent since most of them required speed/pitch alteration to get the voice where they wanted it, and it wasn't always to the same altered to the same level.

Originally they were going to delete Speedy Gonzales from space jam a new legacy, but it looks like that the Mexican community and Looney Tunes fans alike defended the idea to Warner Brothers. Because at first when cartoon Network first came out and showed all of the cartoons of Looney tunes, they never wanted to show the Speedy Gonzales cartoons. Because they thought the character would be offensive or whatever to the Mexican community, and a lot of Hispanics. But what they didn't know is that there were a lot of hardcore Looney Tunes fans, including Hispanics and Mexicans alike that really loved Speedy Gonzales. I even found out that Speedy Gonzales became a cartoon hero for the Mexican community and Hispanics. I guess that was similar to one of the characters or the two characters maybe, from Walt Disney's three caballeros and Walt Disney's apseudo amigos. Because if the Mexican community and Hispanics alike, loved those animated movies from Disney. Years later they would get a Looney Tunes character, that would represent their culture. That would make them laugh, and of course above all out smart Sylvester and other cartoon villains, who are mainly cats. So Speedy Gonzales became the next cartoon hero for the Mexican community and Hispanic alike. And so it wouldn't be when a lot of hardcore Looney Tunes fans, including the Mexican community and Hispanics all together would beg cartoon Network to show Speedy Gonzales. and it would finally come about at some point in the mid-2000s, when cartoon Network finally showed all of the Speedy Gonzales cartoons. And all of the fans got their wish. And of course the same thing would occur that Speedy Gonzales would be deleted from space jam a new legacy, and deja vu all of the fans. Including the Mexican community and Hispanics defended the idea against Warner Brothers, and now it looks like Speedy Gonzales was brought back into space jam a new legacy. And I should say Gabriel Iglesias AKA fluffy did a good job voicing the beloved character himself. I'm also a huge fan of Gabriel Iglesias AKA fluffy, and I was very glad that he was selected to voice Speedy Gonzales. And I'm sure that Gabriel or fluffy was a big fan of the character, and I should say he got very lucky to voice the character. Just for space jam on your legacy, and who knows there could be some new projects of Speedy Gonzales. That fluffy or Gabriel Iglesias might voice the character again 👍😉

I just wish they did more with the character in Space Jam 2. It was great to see him there, but it really feels like there was a lot of footage cut down for the movie's runtime. I rewatched Back in Action a couple days ago, and even though the finished product only has him reacting to Porky's hard to be politically correct line, he was featured briefly in the cut Daffy Superhero alternate opening as a cop. oddly enough, with Porky. I hope Gabriel is a voice for Speedy going forward, though. If not, Eric Bauza.

The one downside with some of Bob Bergen's replacement voices is that they still end up sounding like Porky Pig. It's definitely the most noticeable with his voice for Speedy Gonzales.

I've noticed that Speedy actually does have a lot of appearances in more recent media, as well as being a merchandising darling. Seems like in the 90's they were on the fence about the character, as he did sort of appear in Tiny Toons, but didn't have that protege character featured in the show (save that brief background appearance in a very early season 1 episode). And while he did appear in Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, his appearance was...well... odd. He only appeared as a brief cameo in the Dia De Los Muertos episode, and only as a hallucination sequence, and for some strange reason, a loud, incredibly random burp sound accompanied his appearance. I also get the feeling WB doesn't want them to use him in the Looney Tunes Cartoons series, but just like the violence level, the animators and writers revolted and used his name in reference in two episodes. One with the Dog Latin subtitles to a Road Runner cartoon (RR is referred to "Spedicus Gonzalicus" or something to that extent) and his name is on the odometer of Porky's car in Parky Pig.

Speedy Gonzales is a really great character even though he's the fastest mouse of all of Mexico and his voice suits him really well too the man of a thousand voices Mel Blanc nailed it and even some of the other ones like Joe alaskey and maybe Bob Bergen or some other voice actor like Keith Scott and Gabriel fluffy Iglesias did a really great job voicing him in Space Jam a new Legacy here's hoping that he will appear in Looney Tunes cartoons and also one more thing by the way I did not realize that Kerry Shale voices Speedy in one of the media commercials and that is very interesting because he also voiced some of the characters in Thomas and Friends which you might do not know overall I think all of them did a really great job voicing the character can't wait for the Tasmanian devils voice evolution
