Hey, great to see your impression of one of my favourite new bands, VoB. What attracts me to them, besides their immense talents, is that they capture a rock spirit that is pretty much dead in much modern rock music. I'm a bit older and have played in my own garage-ish bands, and have lived through the age of punk (which died in 1986 or even before - it's dead never to come back). What I've learned is that the most important bands are those that are made up of a bunch of kids playing through half-working amps and battered drum kits at their favourite songs, having a blast even if they don't have a full command of their instruments. Those sessions tend to fall into long jam sessions in which 90% is just fooling around, and 10% is pure magic. That's Rock & Roll. But VOB are all that, only with a mastery of their instruments and instruments that actually work lol (although Siti [sounds a bit like 'city' - seetee] claims she still doesn't own her own kit). They do indeed have a number of great originals, and in fact are currently working on their first full album as we speak. They've played at Wacken and have done small tours of Europe, and are set to play in the US at the Head in the Clouds Festival in LA this year. Their ranking is rather low on the board, but I think they might find that a lot of new US fans turn out to make them one of the more popular stages.

I agree, they do embody what rock and roll should be, or continue to be and I am glad to see them bringing that forward for the world to see. I am seeing a handful of female bands bringing this back to the forefront ad I am here for it. I am looking forward to their album, Ill be ready!!

This is from their performance in Rennes France 2021. Right after this song, they sang Killing in the name of cover (RATM). That one is also good.. you gotta check that out . Wait, just watch the whole set, as they only sang 2 covers, and the rest of the songs are their originals. You pronounce Widi and Sitti the first time correctly. In Indonesia, we pronounce letters consistently. Read it as it's written.
