He would get stacks of papers with numbers of people who wanted it. He never sold it, I am now 19, I never had the guts to knock, but I did. At first he said no, 2 weeks later. I got a phone call, I didn't recognize the number I declined it. Phone rang again, I declined, it rang once more I picked up. The words still send shivers dowm my back. "She is waiting, your Fairlady is waiting for you. You have seen it , while you grew up. It's as if she was destined to be with you, it's as if all these years she was waiting for you, as if she spoke to me, and said he's the one." Everytime I go into my garage I get the chills, cause I own my dream classic, and not just any 240z but the one that struck my soul since i was 5.

It’s as if it’s slowly floating across the asphalt that lies on the floor. An angel from the heavens, returning to the soil. Suddenly, it’s accelerarion begins to increase. The heavenly façade has faded, and now you see the Z’s true colours. It’s not an angel. It’s a *devil.* You begin to press the gas more and more, shifting up a gear as well. But your efforts were in vain. It’s still catching up. 260km/h. 290km/h. Even at those speeds, it still seems to be closing in. 300km/h. The maximum your ameteur tuned car could ever go. The Z seems to keep accelerating, not going at a top speed, like yourself. It passes, without any effort shown. And, as it disappears from view, you let go of the gas, and decide to turn to a parking area. That Z... you must meet it again.

Firstly, banger OST. But I own a 2010 VW Polo 6R, I was only a young kid when the car was released, I remember being driven past a used car dealership everyday, where I would see this Blue Polo, on my way to school, on my way home, to friends and families houses, It was always there. We went into the dealership one time, my father scrapped his Seat Leon MK1 after a bunch of mechanical failures, and whilst looking around I got a closer look at this blue polo, and immediately fell in love, even as I was younger, for a FWD hatchback, its pretty fucking cool. My father told me that one day I will be able to have that car. A couple years later, the car still hadn't been sold, every other vehicle in that lot was gone, and replaced with other vehicles, then It came time for our family to move house, and I didn't see the car for most of my teenage years, and had kind of forgot about it. September of 2023, I was treating myself to a birthday present, I could now legally take my driving tests, and I needed a car to do it in. I looked around most of our local garages, and came up with nothing I really wanted, either too complicated, too unreliable, or just too beaten up. Final lot of the day I decided to go and take a look at the old dealership mentioned previously with my parents, and to my absolute surprise, that blue polo was sat there still, a worker was even washing it. Needless to say, I bought the car, all those years, 11 or so years of neglect against the elements, it stood strong and proud on its own four wheels, the only mechanical fault with the car was a small hole in the downpipe. I love that car, I always will. I have done over 50K miles in it, track days in it, all sorts of shenanigans, and it still holds strong and true. It has never faulted me, and I'm making sure to put the time and money into maintaining it to keep it running as long as I can, giving it the life it so desperately deserved. To some, cars are just mechanical horses. But to me, cars are my friend.

Not just the music, I don't think people should compare this to Initial D. They're very different series. Wangan is more about the relationship between the driver and the car, and speed, it's very deep. Whereas Initial D is a bit more about the racing/drifting and stuff.

He cried and deeply regretted blowing the engine of the 86. He offered his dad his own savings to repair the old engine if it even was possible. Not only that you have the "fujiwara zone" which is the illusion of his car to accelerate like a 4wd and that only works because of his deep bond with the 86 and controlling it like his own arms and feet. You cant control the car the way you want it to unless you have a deep bond which takumi shows.

IAMSHADOWMAN1 you have it confused Fujiwara zone has nothing to do with takumi's relationship to his 86. the Fujiwara zone is simply his level of breaking when entering and exiting a corner. the people who are chasing the 86 see the break lights turn on and expect him to slow down but in reality he is not. this cause a blur in his tails due to him snapping in and out of the corners. he easily achieves fujiwara zone in his fathers STI due to the superior handling and suspension. initial D focuses more on driver techniques and wangang focuses on the car itself.

Again you cant control your own car likes your own arms and legs unless you have a deep bond which initial d subtly shows. Yes initial d is focused on techniques but dont say it has no bond with a driver.

@@Element202 Thanks, it runs as smoothly as possibly imaginable. The suspension geometry is kinda all over the place, but I guess thats typical for the 1960´s cars. The engine sounds like a land mower under 2000 or 2500 RPM, but above that it kinda sounds like an old V8, even though its an old tiny I4. And with slightly wider tires its a cornering beast, despite its slightly retarded front axle construction with transverse leaf spring and reverse camber increase. I guess thats the advantage of under 3/4 of a ton curb weight.

2 years ago, my 1958 Edsel was in my family garage. It had run down a lot over the years, so I was overhauling it. Updating the suspension, the wiring, etc. Big job. My brother in law has a habit of borrowing tools unexpectedly, often when I'm using them. He comes into the garage to borrow some as I'm working under the engine, when the radio clicks on and starts playing this. He said he felt instantly uncomfortable and left right away. I had wired the radio to my laptop, and when I press a button on my keys it plays a random song from the playlist. Here's the weirdest part though; this song wasnt in the playlist. Damn, ever since this song plays and it always remind me to check something well, lets start, why i need to check something everytime i hear this song... 5yrs ago, were just roaming around in the neighborhood with my friends, then we saw a abandoned garage, my friends tell that theres nothing inside, after a little while, i decided to look inside to see what really is inside... so i checked it i open a stucked up garage door, then my eyes peeled i REALLY THOUGHT it was like stock barnhouse (where u can put ur items inside and stock it).. but i was wrong... because i see a blue nissan 240z (devil z) and black porche 911 Gembrella (blackbird) sitting and abandoned we stood for a while with an awe, because the rumors were wrong, so we didnt change it, we kept it like that so i was hoping who ever bought that barnhouse, is a VERY LUCKY GUY *Update*: the 240z and 911 were bought 6 days ago, coz a buyer bought the land and see an abandoned barnhouse, it was a good feeling that both of them were in good hands.. *new update*: just found out that the Driver/new owner of the Z crashed in the highway due to speeding

I have not yet watched this show in like, the episodes (yet) but one of my most favourite scenes in this is when they are racing, and one of them has the chance to keep ahead of the others, but then he remembers his family and loved ones and realises that he's actually not gonna bother driving over 300 km/an hour on the high way with trucks and stuff on it, then that part at 02:01 starts playing right as he takes his foot off the gas and starts slowing down, and then the Blackbird and Z blasts past him and it turns into a final showdown where we finally get to see which one of them is actually fastest and stuff. (Don't remember how that ended though ^^'')

Yall wanna hear an actual crazy story? Ok so me and my dad often went to the junkyard as we love old cars and we wanted to see al the cars there. Behold we find a Datsun we didn’t find it that special but it was cool non the less. So we went further and kinda forgot about it. 3 weeks later we come back and the Datsun is gone. So we asked to the owner of the junkyard where it went and he said that someone bought it (for the parts). So we believe him and carry on. 3 years later me and my dad go to a sorta kinda car meet (it was more a show off meet so people can show their pride and joy). So my dad was stumbling around and he gasped then pulled me over. And there it was, the Datsun. We asked where the owner got it and he confirmed he was the person that bought the thing off the junkyard. He said he always wanted one and he decided to rescue one. Its cool to see a car live again. Now this song really means something to me may the devil live on

To think wagnam midnight is loosely based on the real mid night/midnight racing group in Japan... 600 HP 3.1 L twin turbo engines, only difference being the real car didn't crash, and is red. However a testaroso did crash and kill the driver in that group, tuned by the same guy that tuned the second gen irl 240z. And irl and anime the z's are racing... A Porsche 911.
