I see some comments here people debating whether Ledisi is a legend or not, so many people have become comfortable with calling Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, India Arie etc. Legends and forget that Ledisi was in the game Earlier than any of them. In my humble opinion Ledisi having recorded over 10 albums and has received 14 Grammy nominations, in my books she’s a certified legend.

I agree. Also, on the subject of 'legends'. This term is always so often used loosely, and at times misunderstood and confused with words like 'Diva' etc. Simply there is is a wide difference between them both. Just has there is with 'rich' and Wealthy. Two entirely different categories and a very wide margin between the two.

Ledisi is amazing! I discovered her years ago when she opened for Chaka Khan, (who was so wasted that Ledisi had to sing some of her songs for her). It was sad, but Ledisi was amazing.
