It's not just her thunderous voice, for me the best part was Ms Monet saying 'Cmon mama!' and encouraging CORii to bring out her best. And she was so excited to see her saved. CORii's voice really does cut through the backing track and sit on top of the mix. These are two LEAD singers.

Ms Monet was the clear winner in this battle, hands down. yes, she forced Corii to step her vocals up because of the shared stage and presents of Ms. Monet. Ms Monet you owed that stage like a seasoned professional. That wasn't a battle, Ms.Monet was teaching a masterclass in vocal style and power!

That was a fantastic battle! That was honestly the best of the night so far! Ms. Monet has an amazing voice that reminds me of Wendy Moten and she slayed that! Corii was awesome too and she was a surprise. She deserved those two steals. That felt like a Grammy Award performance. Everything was PERFECT and FLAWLESS! Pitch perfect all the way through with no mess ups. I loved that. Perfect song choice for both of them but suited Ms. Monet more. She won that for me. She is gonna be in the finale hands down and there is no way she'll be going home. She's that amazing! I'd love to hear her take on Proud Mary. She can sang the phonebook. I don't care what songs she sings. I'll love everything she does.

Know, for this battle, I'm so glad CORii got a steal. CORii did great and she really tried to be at Ms.Monet's level, you can really tell in the high notes. Ms.Monet it's just so pure, she actually was doing that with any effort. Ms.Monet has the potential to arrive to the lives, but let's see what happens in the three-way knockouts. Note: I hope they manage better this year with the three-way knockouts, because season 22 was a disaster with that part. Literaryly, the majority of auditions were not available.

This is when a coach can pick a contestant they previously eliminated to the playoffs (like the playoff pass from last season) Ms. Monet gets the "super save," but gets eliminated in the playoffs.

Well, there were some timing and cohesion issues. They were both in their own lanes which made it sound more like an actual battle than a coherent song. They both had a chance to showcase their entire voices though, so that was good.
