This was gorgeous. I've always appreciated Andrea's voice knowing he has to learn the music differently. He has an excellent ear. I can't imagine not seeing my duet part. Such talent and skill.

Two different languages captured in a duet with unity in yhe prayer. I love the way you expressed this. They were both true to their own style whilst complimentary of eachother. Really lovely performance.

Well, well, well... Took the haters a little while, but now they're here lol! "I don't like her voice", "Her voice is too powerful"... Blah, blah, blah... Sit down somewhere. No matter what you say, Jennifer Hudson is a PHENOMENAL singer and she did a fantastic job alongside the great Andrea Bocelli. No comparisons to other versions/renditions are needed. This performance was stellar in its own right.❤

They are not being “haters” they are expressing the truth about their perceptions of her voice. They may not find her voice to be pleasant. If they said something lie “she can’t sing” now that would be hating.

@GarageStudio7 You made an intentional decision to click the video. If you know you don't like her or her voice, instead of coming here to add negativity to a positive post (especially considering the solemn nature of the song/performance), you could simply keep it to yourself and scroll on... Instead, here you are ringing in the New Year justifying the nonsense which has made social media become the cesspool that it is. Do better. God bless.

EXACTLY 💯. I don't get it either 😕. Like their our literally THOUSANDS of videos they could watch and comment on, YET they bring such negativity to such a BEAUTIFUL moment. Mr. Bocelli seems to think she's an AMAZING vocalist, so that's what matters. I ❤️ her, and they did a REMARKABLE JOB 👏 ❤️❤️❤️!!!

YESSSSS..... he's VERY selective in his choices of duets. So, he knew and thought VERY highly of her and her capabilities as a vocalist. Wonderful choice, and Great Performance ❤️!!

Most of the time I don’t care for J’s voice but this performance was great. I loved how she didn’t stray from her “brand” of voice. I also believe this shows that she could be an awesome operatic singer.

It's interesting listening to this knowing that Celine Dion did the original. I'm not saying JHud is biting but I hear a mix of JHud and Celine in her delivery. Kinda how Kelly Clarkson's version of "I Will Always Love You" merged her style with Whitney and Dolly.

Okay, Jennifer missed the "vocally you" part of your platform on this song😂. Jennifer's voice is strong but I could tell that she was trying her best to [sound operatic]. Thus, for me, she did not sound relaxed. The notes sounded forced and inauthentic. I love it when vocalists experiment with different genres. However, vocalists do not have to force themselves to [fit the musical genre]. Overall a 6.5 out of 10.

Im sorry but I can’t stand her voice . It’s not something I would put on and listen to because it’s more technallity than it sound pleasant to the ears… sorry to say it . But it darn true

I honestly don’t think Jennifer Hudson did this song any justice. This is a beautiful song, it’s supposed to be sweet and simple and yet powerful, but she put too much of a gospel spin on it for my liking. Just my opinion.

I agree with you, as I love the soft and gradually build up like Celine did it in the classic original.

I'm sorry, I love Jennifer, and she is a great singer, but I feel like this was not the best song for her. Her voice is too powerful for this song.
