This young man here has done himself proud, from being abandoned on the street by his Mother at age 7, and his Father being in prison, he taught himself how to sing like this. Marcelito is the true definition of perseverance and determination, a true beacon of light to all of us in the world. This man had absolutely nothing but he took what he had and made something of himself, that is success in a nutshell. He is a gift to all of us who can hear him and be mesmerized by his God given talent. He won on Philippines Got Talent, and the first thing he wanted to do was find his Parents. In spite of them NOT being there for him while he was growing up, he wanted to find them which he did and he forgave them for what happened, that is truly a man who has no anger towards another human being in his heart. His wife and child are blessed to have this kind man in their lives, he has stated he is going to be there for his children and is doing just that. he could have been a statistic, but instead he chose the path to success and he has done just that. God Bless this man, his family and all who come in contact with him, we are blessed to have him on this earth and we should appreciate him for what he gives us. Oh and by the way he does this while sitting down, like he is just kicking back at the dinner table with us all.

Agree w/ everything said😍(!) & just wanted to add that he survived on the streets & made only $1/day (I believe?!) to clean chicken coops! He sang to the chickens & times when he was AFRAID & LONELY! The Prayer was literally his prayer as a child!! This absolutely crushed me, y’all, seriously! It was at around age 18 that he realized he could sing in the female/soprano voice, in addition to his male/tenor voice. He truly believes his talent is a gift from God & remains humble & grounded to this day. He continues to help the less fortunate💟 His native tongue is the Filipino language, but he can sing in 6 languages in all; Filipino, English, Italian, Korean, Chinese & Spanish!!! I am half Okinawan 🇯🇵 myself & it took me until 8 yrs old to fully grasp & speak the English language🤣 & yet he makes it seem so easy! From male to female, tenor to soprano, pop to operatic, English to Italian etc etc, his tone & pitch are flawless! His breath control is inhuman & he sings w/ such clarity & pureness! I’m all in my emotions every time I hear him😊 Another excellent cover, is his version of, Time To Say Goodbye🙌🏼😍 Thank you for reacting to this one!

This young man is a blessing to each and everyone of us. The LORD has blessed this young man to do what 98% of us can not do. He taught himself. He had a very gruff life in the Philippines at the age of seven yrs old he was thrown on the streets and cared for his self. He has a beautiful wife and daughter. Most everyone is amazed by his voice. We are totally amazed by his intellect. One has to be on the high side of the genius chart to remember everything it takes to produce the sound he does. lyrics, volume,vocal cords, diaphragm control…. Definitely in the Prometheus category.

I'm not sure about the english part of the song but the italian part is not perfectly pronounced ( but very good for a person who does not know the language). For a native italian speaker like me he sounds like a spanish person who is singing in italian.

Marcelito Pomoy is definitely in the elite singing bracket. He blows people out of the water. He is the master in switching voices in a split second, no effort whatsover. He never ever had a real training and lessons in singing, he's self-taught. The more you react to him the more you will be in awe. Please check out his rendition of POWER OF LOVE at wish 107.5. What's even more fascinating is the fact that Marcelito hardly speak English & he doesn't speak Italian. What he has is a God-given talent. He's a freak of nature. FYI: he is very kind in person. He helps the poor because he can relate to them how it's like to have nothing because of poverty he had experienced the majority of his youth.
