One of my fave Jackson 5 songs! If this was from 1974, then MJ was either 15 or 16 depending on when it was filmed. His charisma and stage presence was stellar, even as a kid.

this is insane, he seems to be right in the middle vocally of his transition from childhood to adult.

This was amazing. I can't believe I've never seen this. Michael was 16 here. They were fantastic and Michael sounds sooooo good. I love the arrangement and swing to this performance! Thanks for another amazing reaction! And Happy Birthday King of Pop! 🤴🏾🤗🥰🥳🎈🎉🕊️👼🏾

The original recordings of J5 songs when MJ was even younger are very impressive. MJ's voice under 12 was incredibly impressive. Would love to hear your reaction to his singing during that age before his teens.

You haven’t done a Michael video for a long time. To be honest that’s the only reactions I watch. Found this because of Michaels birthday.

Hi Valerie! It was a long time ago since I heard the Jackson Five. It brought back many beautiful memories. And it makes me realize that I'm getting older and older......🤨 It's not a live performance, but here's a link to another great song from a very young MJ. This song is very special to me. And especially the long high note at 03.00 is phenomenal! Hope you like it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5_LqmV6gcablc0

Awesome, great reaction my friend...On a side note, I once had a pant exactly like those. Mine was a bit on the lighter side tho..The pattern was the same, and of course it was bell-bottom, lol...I didn't buy it because of The Jackson 5, my mom ( I was about 10 years old ) bought it for me at a second hand store, hahahahah...Wish I could share the pic of it on here...Oh well, you just have to believe me, lol

6:16 yep. I'm 50 you can reach back and see the influences of all the ones that came before. I grew up on the Jackson 5 but i'm also fundamentally a kid of hip-hop. And where as the Jackson 5 came from the 4 Tops and The Temptations etc. it is not remotely a surprise that hip-hop grew from samples of as you put it the music of our parents and our childhood. It's got beats from jazz and funk and soul. It's all partly derivative of what came before. From the Amen Break to Impeach the President.

Hello Mrs. Valerie White this is the wrong one to react to The Best One is The Jackson Five Live on The Flip Wilson Show on 1971. The Jacksons Killed this Version and Michael was absolutely the greatest and they did the whole song in the right key and the harmonies were wonderful. They did the song live with that overhead boom mike for Jermaine and the brothers and Michael had his own mike. Can You Please react to this version!
