This is probably Laura's most iconic song and Lara knows it. I love that Lara at times took a step back, not wanting to "dispute" the song, but knowing exactly the moments when she could shine. Two divas who know how to do a duet rather than a competition of who sings more. Love them both!

@@wolves8802 same melody? Not even 2 of her songs have the same melody. Find me 2 of her songs that have the same melody. She’s one of the best-selling artists in all of Latin-America for a reason. It’s not over-saturated pop that doesn’t even have a decent melody. Like, for instance, Shakira had amazing heartfelt melodies in her first 2 albums that made you feel like you could understand what she was feeling, but then she started to collaborate with reggeaton artists & rap artists that shot her up in fame. I respect the hustle bc she became a huge artist, but she lost her melodic touch. José José is another artist that never lost his artistic integrity & why his melodies go deep in your soul.

As an Italian, I have been to at least one Laura Pausini concert. She is been the italian diva for me since I was a little girl and through my teens years. When I saw her on this stage with Lara Fabian, which I just descovered, I thought that Laura was about to been blown away... but actually NOT! I like Pausini a lot. Several of her songs are favs. Having said that, man, Lara Fabian's timbre just does something to my ears. Everything I've every seen lists Fabisn as a full lyric, which -- i dunno. She sounds like velvet. If she's a mezzo, I'll have to stop saying she's the only soprano I've ever truly loved. 😂 (My mom was a trained contralto basso, so I like deep, dark voices.) Fabian's range is C3-G#6 Thanks for a fun reaction. Looking forward to Je Suis Malade when you come around to it. Cheers!
