There is not now, nor will there ever be another Celine Dion. She has an iconic voice. Thank you for this. I knew it was going to be good when I saw the thumbnail and you were featuring Celine. But when I saw the words "relishes in" I knew it was going to be extra good. And you did not disappoint. There is a video of Maxwell singing at a concert and he drops down to his knees and walks in that bended knee position while he's singing. I don't know what song he's singing, nor do I care, because his songs are so good. But I'd really like an analogy of him, Donny Hathaway singing "A song for you" and/or P!nk in concert (because her ability to sing while upside down is unmatched). Cyndi Lauper has an unique voice. I find it interesting how she changes certain words and her range. I took voice lessons for 7 years. My voice teachers (who believed that I was an alto that should be a soprano) gave me one of Celine's songs "I drove all night." I didn't do it justice. Later I discovered that Cyndi Lauper recorded the same song. I've also wondered if anyone, if trained properly, can sing whistle notes? It was one of the questions that I had during that time that I don't think anyone has ever really answered. If you've done videos on any of these things or people then you can disregard this comment. And as always I enjoyed your analogy.

It's an old track. Like 14 years old. She can't and doesn't sound like this anymore. Did you not see the footage of her Paris rehearsal, singing along to her prerecorded track? It was sad that her voice was so off. Watch her sing A Change is Gonna Come at the Aretha Franklin tribute in 2019. She's very thin and definitely sings soulfully. But her voice was very raspy and rough. The beautiful Celine sheen and clarity were gone. That may very well be her last fully LIVE performance. I saw her tour late in 2019 and she was in pretty good shape. She sang only portions of songs and the rest was mimed. She looked beautiful though and gave it her all.

@@jmlegrairstudio I don't understand why that question is relevant tho. Why reacting as a voice teacher with all the techniques and expensive words implying it's live, to a pre-rerecorded pitchcorrected track. :/
@jmlegrairstudioАй бұрын
@@K3N_N3TH lol I didn't imply anything. I never said "this is live" or "this is prerecorded." You're deciding that I've implied it. I just talk about the voice. You can't "pitchcorrect" articulation/words, phonetics, and vocal textures all like that. Pitch is just *one* aspect of singing. And let's be honest, would you want to risk the voice doing something strange when you've been battling an autoimmune disease that affects the voice when you're back performing? Let her be human. I review prerecorded videos and things all the time. My job is to talk about *the voice* -- that's it. You don't have to agree or like it. But since you wanted to comment, I wanted to comment right back. And lastly my question is very relevant. It's her voice, but you don't wanna answer it so that's okay. Thanks for watching :)

I hate it when "voice teachers" are duped by a lip sync performance. How can you break down something that's pre-recorded, or taken from audio from years ago and lipped over when there's an original performance somewhere? I understand that she's got a condition and she's one of the best selling female artists of all time, I'm a huge fan too, but i HATE when this happens. She lipped at the Olympics and here too. Just because she's done her time and done her thing doesn't mean she gets a free pass. it's the same as Taylor Swift, about a third of Celine's age and she using the same audio in concerts 3 times in one year. Please dissect an actual voice and not fakery. I Just don't want Celine to end up like Franky Valli.

My brother I sent you an amazing vocalist yourself and I think that you could get my voice back I lost it Long story you know those TikToks and KZbin's where people don't know their friends can sing and their mouths and jaws just dropped to the floor One day I was playing a demo tape you know cassette tapes I had a wireless microphone and a corded mic and I used to sing over instrumentals and sometimes I would you know double my voice from tape A to tape b That's how I did my last back in those days cuz I had no money still don't and my friend Sean may he rest in peace sit turn it up at Celine turn it up then I used to impersonate and I said it's me and he said b******* he couldn't believe it and then I turned it on I turned mic on and I'll be honest I don't know what the song was it was probably a big ballad and he cried and his mouth hit the floor and he goes you need to be on a talent show so I went on a talent show and all the cameras and big microphones I got scared and I literally bummed out but anyway my question is I've studied her for years and you know as Caesars Palace there were songs that she could sing you know every night no problem but then there was some songs that honestly for a vocalist would just be so difficult to perform every night and it would just take a toll on a singer's voice honestly too much it would take too much so I'm asking you in the commenters do you believe that this was 100% live or do you think that this was pre-recorded bearing in mind that we've got the whole London situation I personally don't care I don't care if she was performing and her voice was breaking and things like that because she is proving herself more than enough she could literally sit there in a chair and just speak the words and I'd still be living for it. Like the documentary I don't care if those apples have dropped on the ground and half of them have worms growing through them there's still some edible fruit in those apples I'll take it I'll eat it I won't be wasting food no we don't be wasting Celine Better no honesty I love your analysis but I just want your opinion do you think this was really live or do you think she sort of recorded it in a live effect and then just had her mic turn down really low I'm only asking because this again was another big event and support of the designer and the Saudi people who are very wealthy and I truly believe who when she says the performance matters it's the performance that counts I also heard sadly that she is back on the benzos a little bit or something similar to being zodiazepines because she's just well I don't want to quote but let me say this I have an incurable pain disease and when I get nervous or over stimulated or scared I go into full pelvic floor spasm and literally I wouldn't be able to get up and sing because it affects the diaphragm the pelvis everything so I'm just wondering you know how she can get past the sphere knowing she can't really rely on her vocals and sometimes her body I'm just so curious about a lot of things but the main thing I'm curious is do you honestly believe these vocals are live with all due respect you always love from New Zealand

You can tell in recordings that aren’t cut that her mouth doesn’t move along with a few of the words correctly. I read elsewhere that this specific song she’s lip synced or partially lip synced since 1995 because it’s so demanding on her voice that performing it regularly would damage her voice’s longevity.
