Well according to Micheal J Powell, he said that Aaliyah sung in a full powerful voice that was like Whitney Houston’s. He worked with her on her debut album. And also did her demos. He also said that, she could sing big ballads and have heard her do things the public never heard her do. So I wouldn’t say she wasn’t a belter, she just sung in her sweet style of singing.

A voice with great potential that was silenced.

@coastalonyx2 ай бұрын
Her live vocals were rough while dancing because she was actually SINGING LIVE while performing choreography. Most artists partially or fully lip sync while dancing giving the false impression they can simultaneously dance and sing well live. She also struggled to recreate & project that airy, heady-falsetto sound over a live band. She usually sang at the bottom of her chest when performing songs like “Try Again” live to be heard through the band. Singing lightly over those bass driven beats in a studio is easy. I never understood why live sound engineers didn’t modulate the band’s mix to allow her to be more easily heard.

I want to tell everyone about someone amazing. His name is Jesus. He loves us so much. First Corinthians 15:3-7 tells us that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. He did this so that we may be able to enter Heaven through him. All you have to do is put your faith and trust in him, accept him as Lord and savior, and follow him. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son that whosever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life” God is so good. Jesus is coming very soon. There have been signs of him coming. “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7. There are earthquakes, floods, wars, rumors of wars, evil, and wickedness happening right now. These are the signs. Jesus will come any day, you don’t want to be left behind. The tribulation will be like nothing you have ever seen before. I am warning you, get saved before it’s too late.
