What I’m learning is that to even try and pursue voice over with any chance of getting even one booked job, it must become a full time job. On top of the full time job you already have..

Your channel and this video have provided very valuable guidance - thank you! I'm benefiting greatly from your robust and thorough coverage of this line of work and all the things we either didn't know or wouldn't even have thought of. Do you have any guidance very specifically on working in voice impressions/impersonations? All the guidance out there on that subject is about how to develop the skills, which is essential, but after years of practice and development already I'm interested in how newbees should seek out the work in that niche.

Do you still have your website? I run into error messages when I try to get to it.

When auditioning for VO job on Fiverr/Upwork, etc should we send message to client to ask if we can audition? And is the audition script usually on their post or do we just find a similar script to the direction they’re looking for?

It’s the equipment for me. Why can’t I just start. Always looking for more tools to be better.

Yep, basic recording gear is all you need. Acoustical treatment is most important.

Can you tell me if you use open back or closed headphones or if it makes a difference?
