Hello, did something happened with the entity NAME? After creating a new entity, NAME No longer appears under CUSTOM on the type menu. Does this means that we have to feed and feed the assistant with maaaany different names for it to recognize the entity and continue with the flow. And can somebody from voiceflow please reply to this? No one has replied to my discord questions, neither to the questions I have done in youtube.

Would love to see more info on creating custom entities, I've been having a hard time getting voiceflow to consistently recognize user input for things like "user_id" when it's formated like "user.name.123" or "username123" sometimes the input just takes the first half of the user input and results in invalid lookup.

I think he does them wrong in the video... You need to add your phrases or names into synonym part, if you only put it into the value part it does nothing...

I created a Webchat bot. Is there a way offer the user to “text us” have it provide the WhatsApp number and just copy & paste the webchat bot over to WhatsApp? The user could then just text the given number and it would be virtually the same workflow?

Not sure if this answers your question but you can use the same project for both Webchat and WhatsApp using our Dialog API. With the Webchat project you already created and have live, you can connect it to WhatsApp through this code sample. It has step by step instructions and is pretty quick to set up with Replit. developer.voiceflow.com/docs/advanced-whatsapp

How can I integrate AI to the users messages, for example if the question is what's is the name of the person that you want to send money to, and the user says "I would not like to answer that" how can I get AI to respond?

does it have to be AI? you can set a logical condition to if {last_utterance} does not contain {name}, then let it answer "we need a name for this this and that..." if it's that simple of an interaction.

Entities don’t seem to work. The built in “first name” entity seems pretty straightforward, so I don’t understand why the system saves “speak to an agent” as the first name. I’m eagerly waiting some guidance via my support ticket.

Were working on improvements to entity capture. In the meanwhile we’d recommend using the Set AI step to use an LLM to capture items.
