Indeed pain and suffering or whatever type of strain and struggles are our deserving ness because of sins we commit when ever we commit it through our daily lives, if a Catholic excepts it wether he or she is in the right or wrong is a good way to do penance for atonement reparation and expirations for our sins after confession.excellent video presentation may God the Holy Trinity continue to bless protect guide and fill all his Bishops Priests and members throughout the whole Catholic Church in world Amen Amen Amen 🙏 🐑🕊️✨🔥

I live in Buffalo NY!! I've been looking for a Byzantine Catholic Church near me, any recommendations, Father?
@caseycardenas1668 Жыл бұрын
So I'm from New York also. Obviously there's multiple churches that use the byzantine rite. If you're looking for a Byzantine Church a.k.a Byzantine Ruthenian Church I have all the locations for New York, mind you they are few and far between. I'll update this ASAP.
@caseycardenas1668 Жыл бұрын
So there are 10 Byzantine Catholic Parishes in New York State all belonging to the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic. Locations: Binghamton, NY Endicott, NY Granville, NY 2 Parishes in New York, NY (NYC) Olean, NY Peekskill, NY (this one may be "defunct" from what I've overheard, not quite sure though, would have to give them a call and see, this is technically the closest to me within the New York border but it's about an hour southwest of me. I live walking distance to the Connecticut border in Dutchess County so I've been attending a Byzantine Parish within Connecticut that's a little closer.) Smithtown, NY Westbury, NY White Plains, NY
@caseycardenas1668 Жыл бұрын
After some more research I discovered that the St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Olean, NY is the closest to you by far. It's really the only feasible one. It's about 70 miles south of you, roughly an hour and twenty minute drive. The rest are all over 3 hours away from you.

Lastly, there is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church right over the border from you on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The UGCC (Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church) also belongs to the Byzantine Rite and is very similar to the Byzantine Church where as a difference being the use of the Cyrillic alphabet rather than a latinized one. Maybe something worth checking out.

Do Byzantine Catholics still pray the rosary?
@E.C.2 Жыл бұрын
Wondered the same thing and,found a few Ukrainian Orthodox who pray 3 Mystery Holy Rosary.
@jakedubin8219 Жыл бұрын
@@E.C.2 how does that work?
@kyriosbooks8400 Жыл бұрын
they were never obliged to (they have devotional prayers to Virgin Mary) but they can if they want to. You have byzantine catholics who goes to adoration to the blessed sacrament and pray rosary.
@jakedubin8219 Жыл бұрын
@@kyriosbooks8400 do they still pray the Hail Mary?
@caseycardenas1668 Жыл бұрын
@@jakedubin8219absolutely, but the staple of eastern tradition(s) is the Jesus Prayer used with a chotki which is often braided rope but can also be found in the form of beads similar to your average rosary beads.

Traditional Roman Rite chapels,since 1970's,have began the same exact way. Pray you receive an Eastern Rite Bishop with valid Holy Orders. Some who attends traditional Latin Rite chapels do so because of "Rite of Holy Orders" issue. Tell them about Council of Florence if people ask about being Orthodox. Interesting fact,the Thuc line has 3 Eastern Rite & 2 Roman Rite lines of Apostolic Succession.

Byzantine Catholic Church disproves Rome as the true Church
@Gladdig Жыл бұрын
If anything, it points towards its catholicity.
@kaden7374 Жыл бұрын
@@Gladdig right, by canonizing saints they condemned as heretics for centuries (saints that themselves brought up arguments against Rome) , not having a universal theology, not even having a universal creed? Sure does point to its truth huh? It does not point to truth or universality. It just points to the fact that the only thing they care about is submitting to the pope (which, by the way, is not consistent with early Christianity as it stands in its current form)
