Keep in mind you can get the V7 voice oriented body with the V7X capsule in the V7 MK, for a bit more money.

I picked the MK up a few weeks ago and it’s probably my favorite handheld dynamic now. I’ve even used it for a couple of KZbin VO gigs when I was a bit lazy and didn’t go into the booth 😅

I've been listening to your clips Mr.Browne and I appreciate your honest, detailed reviews and contemplations. (Some day I kind of wish you could have other type of voice and her/his input to follow up the mic comparisons along with updating your summaries maybe from time to time)

When it comes to headphones, I would like to recommend the Sennheiser IE 100 Pro, which surprisingly sound similarly to EVE SC 207 audio monitors to my ears. Their frequency response graph (they sound the same as the IE 40 Pro) it looks similarly to the graph which shows, how loud different frequencies should be to perceive their loudness equally. Unfortunately their original cable could be more durable. After a year it still works, although it looks quite shabby.

Dear Anton, I am looking for handheld dynamics to record conversation in normal, acoustically not treated spaces using two mics on small table stands + a zoom h6. I was thinking about the beta58a, however, I won't be sad to find something else which is better and cheaper at the same time :) Which one would you recommend, the V7 or the V7X (=V7MK) with the more extended bass? Thank you.

I have looked at the graph for the V7MK and it has quite a lift in the treble. This my be okay but I would be inclined towards the V7X - correctly positioned to avoid pops. The table stands might be an issue if the table is lightweight and/or is likely to be knocked.

Hello mr. Browne I have a request. I'd like to add a large diaphragm Condenser ro my microphone arsenal. I have 2 LDC's but both are not ideal for vocals (a AKG 414eb, which is great for a lot but very flat. And a Advanced Audio fet47 (a fet 47 'clone'. Which is nice for voice-over and as a room mic, the omni setting is very good fornits price point). So I would like to invest in a as good a microphone I can get. But somebod my audio engineering friends tell me that my Neumann 105 and my Sennheiser 5032p are so good that unless I spend a lot more than I can I cant get a mic that beat the neumann and the AKG. You have a Neumann 105 I believe. And a Røde NT1. Would you mind comparing the two? My voice is a bass-baritone (not as smooth as yours but still) nearly all the NT1 reviews tend to be NT1a which I demo'd and did not like. And where there are NT1s rhen its usually female vocals or high baritones/tenors. If you have a LDC to add, and you think I should consider I'm very intrested in your advice. You are my favorite microphone reviewer on YT. If you can't/don't want to do that conparison, would you have a advice? The Neumann 103? Aston Spirit or one I haven't heard of. I also welcome recommendations from my fellow fans of your reviews. Since your comment section is always a pleasant one. Thank you for any comparison/advice. Kind regards Thomas
