Yes, now I speak more clearly, energetically, and naturally. Thank you for helping me learn how natural voice-overs work. This is a major element change for my KZbin videos!

This is something I watched because of reading scripts for making KZbin videos. I've not seen very many people talking about making KZbin videos talk about HOW to read the scripts naturally even though they do talk about writing scripts.

It seems difficult for you to read it as though you're reading it; even when you are reading it, it sounds great to me, just as though you are not reading it. I wish I could voice over as naturally as you do when you are reading I would be very happy with that. I will definitely follow your advice and practice. Thank you for a great video.

I guess I've always done this naturally given my early youtube experience was spent reading off script I learned to improvise even when reading a script to do just what he has. Its truely intriguing just what you do without thinking sometimes.
@theblasteffect44992 жыл бұрын
A lot of human behaviors are intuitive, and without thinking. I knew pretty much most of this video, just from naturally doing it. I recorded myself and played it back, through voice changers, or whatever and kept improving. I'm not perfect, and occasionally I end up sounding like I'm narrating, even if I'm not reading off a script.

It seems like a lot of people have a problem with that! Thanks! And keep up the great, inspiring work!

Hi Peter, Thank you for the review, isn't it an interesting idea to present Powerpoint presentation as videos using bullet points in a teleprompter? , to help you sound conversational in Voice Overs, better option than following word-for-word script?.

*Can you do a video on where to emphasize in a list. The last example you did had a list of 3 things: work, home and life in general. What about if that list has 5 or 6 things, where to "push" and not to "push" in a longer list? I had a script recently where I had to do this, and I did the "push" twice, once in the middle of the list and once on the last item in the list. Was this correct?*
@Voiceovermasterclass4 жыл бұрын
That's probably what I'd do as well, but it depends on the context and how casual or serious the read has to be. Lists are always awkward in a VO script when they're long - if i know the writer well I work with them to try to re-work it to avoid long lists!

I would definitely leave out the chuckle. You don't want to sound like you're reading, but you also don't want to sound like you're acting. Whenever I hear a chuckle or a forced pause - as if the reader is stopping to think, when you know full well they're not - it always jumps out at me: ACTING! Otherwise this was very helpful.

yea... Just watch how AI will absolutely Demolish the voice-over industry. There are already programs that can produce voice that's indistinguishable from a human's voice. And it takes no time, it's free and makes no errors.
