Great reaction!! I love Voiceplay, they are absolutely wonderful. I'll recommend that you react to their cover of We Don't Talk About Bruno, for a different feeling, and for a sweet one, Can't Help Falling in Love or Bridge Over Troubled Water. The last two have the same lineup that you saw in Tennessee Whiskey. Two members left in the last two years, one for personal reasons, the other joined the US Navy and is singing with them in the Pacific Northwest. The guy on the stairs is the newest member. Have fun with the rest of us!

Great reaction!! Now you see why Voiceplay is my favorite a capella group! Every single member is a perfectionist, as is every featured guest-plus they bring the theater to it, make it a story. I’m crazy about every one of these guys. Layne is a beat-boxing beast, and it’s a huge treat to hear him sing. Eli is one of the better actors I’ve seen-and I got my BA in theater, and while it seems like we only hear his tenor register, he actually has an incredible range, and can change his timbre to fit the song. Cesar also has amazing range-that was him hitting the high notes here, and every time I think I have him pegged, he shows us a new side of his talent. Plus from what I can see he’s amazing to work with. And then there’s Geoff-that bass is gorgeous. Not only does he have extraordinary vocal agility and range but he has worked hard on his vocal quality, and his timbre is just… well, gorgeous. His solo channel is loaded with good songs, so you should check it out. And if you like bass, another group that has rocketed to my top three is The Bass Gang. You should definitely check them out! Start with Centuries or Yellow Flicker Beat. They’re just getting started, only have 9 songs out, but they’re already on the map and they’re killin’ it. Each member also has a solo channel with some brilliant individual work, and two of the members are also in other groups that are amazing.

They are good, yeah. As for getting things in one take: on the one hand, they tour and do live performances, so they must be able to do halfway decent on the fly like that. (It's even possible to find videos of some of their live performances on KZbin, which is the only way to see them perform the Chicken Song, as they've never done an official video for it.) However, they've admitted that they do multiple takes to achieve the level of perfection we see in the official videos; they say it took Geoff 80 takes to get the ridiculous low note exactly right at the end of Way Down, for example. (If so, it was worth it.) Their Halloween-themed stuff is all amazing, but you may want to save some of that for October. Ad interim, some of their better non-seasonal songs include Hoist the Colours (my all-time favourite KZbin video; I bet I've watched it 500 times by now), Carry On Wayward Son, We Don't Talk About Bruno, Little Mermaid, Queen in 5 Minutes, If I Were a Rich Man, Phantom of the Opera, Boy Bands in 5 Minutes, ... And yes, definitely also check out Geoff's solo channel. 16 Tons is a really good starting point, very good but also typical; Way Down is also very good, but less typical. Bare Necessities, Blackbird, Ain't No Sunshine, ... and again, all the Halloween stuff is amazing, but save some of it for October.

Awesome reaction. You need to try Geoff Castellucci's solo work. Most start with his cover of 16 Tons or perhaps Blackbird by the Beetles which he does an incredible job of but I would suggest Way Down an Elvis Presley song. I would also recommend checking out Voiceplay's covers of Daddy Sang Bass or I Can't Help Falling in Love

I see you like bass. You might like to check out some of Geoff Castellucci bass covers. That is the name of the bass singer. I might suggest "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold" or "Sixteen Tons" or "Country Roads", there are too many to mention. With Voiceplay you might like "Hoist The Colors", or "My Mother Told Me". Again too many to mention. I subed because you are reacting to Voiceplay, Home Free and Pentatonix. I love them all.
