The sign on the door says VoicePlay in German. Kathy Castellucci is the toymaker building her perfect man. They melt my heart the way they look at each other at the end. Tony Wakim did the drawings in the book, he's a former member who J. None took his place.

That is part of their patron list, but there are many more in the lower tiers that can’t be included at the end of the video. Over a year ago their patron list got so big that they couldn’t run it at the end of the videos. So they had to make changes and only the upper tiers are on a fixed screen or a scroll. I don’t know if you’ve done any reactions to Geoff’s solo channel. (Couldn’t remember and couldn’t find any in your listings) But Geoff’s recent video for Sounds of Silence is well worth reacting to. It’s not acapella, but he takes a great deal of care in arranging and selecting just the right plugins to get the effect he wants. It’s been out for about 2 weeks and already has almost 600K views.

easy way to learn ... find a black and white photo and a clean paper lightly grid both and then square by square copy the parts of image over. it's really easy and get's you use to it. LOL Music is Hard Art is mostly about learning to be ok with mistakes and finding the life in them

As always, I loved your reaction. Now be warned: according to the teaser, the next Voiceplay video (which I believe is coming out within days) is going to be EPIC, and it looks like sort of a sequel to "My mother told me", which is the one where you guys gave Geoff the (well earned) nickname of #Foghorngeoff 🙂, the difference being that he's already WAY lower in the teaser! 😁 Can't wait to watch that one, AND to watch your reaction to it. 🤩. BTW, I'm as bad as drawing as you guys are, I heard your stories about how people who can draw fill you with awe, and I can TOTALLY relate. 😅 Anyway... Anthony Gargiula (you can pronounce it as "Garjoola") has quite a beautiful voice. He appeared in an old Voiceplay video, "Just sing", and the captions (which explain who the singing persons are and what relationship they have with Voiceplay) was "Didn't collaborate with him yet, but we want to" or something of the like. Well, eventually they got to, and holy crap, what a voice he has. 🤩 The lady is obviously a "toymaker", and she is building her "Perfect Man". She is Kathy Castellucci, Geoff's wife in real life, and obviously her choice is Geoff 😍, I find it so cute. 🙂 Last but not least, the sign at the very beginning means "Voiceplay" in German, and the cubes among the dolls spell "Voiceplay". These guys think of every detail... 🙂 See you next time!

Btw Anthony is 17. As a fellow teenage boy I’m OBSESSED with his head voice and DEPRESSED I CAN’T hit it after puberty ruined any chance at that 😂 I truly hope he can keep his voice stable enough to hit those high notes for the future. Would definitely recommend you react to more of his solo stuff.

VoicePlay always credits their audio mixer in their video info section. It's usually Ed Boyer (who's also the audio mixer for Home Free, BTW). And I agree he's a wizard. As for the drawing vs. music tangent, I think both are considered "right brained." But my guess is: if your natural inclination is toward music, drawing may be less intuitive to you because drawings don't make any sound, so you don't get that specific feedback.

I'm the same way as you guys. My father and both of my brothers are decent artists. I'm only mediocre, and I can not draw people or animals at all. I can draw scenery decently. But my artistic ability manifested in plastic canvas(similar to cross stitch). A friend of mine looks at the patterns that I use to make the items and can't understand it, but I can look at it and already envision what the finished product looks like.

I'm a long time lurker coming to say that I enjoy your reactions very much. My special interest is to Voiceplay reactions, but there have been reactions to other groups and performers I've liked, too. A special thank you for the discussion on drawing pictures and playing instruments. While unexpected, it somehow suits in your style of music video reactions. What you told each other made me understand something that has never made any sense to me, namely the advice of creating a grid and following its lines to draw accurate likeness of the subject. Never worked for me. From what you said I now understand that the advice is given by a person that conceptualises the world visually. I don't. I use narratives and therefore rely on recollections of things, textures and movements. My drawings are based on lines that map out actions, like a secretive grin or a knitting together ones eyebrows in annoyance. Maybe I could draw based on recollections of movements in music, too. There's an opportunity for something new...

Bit late to the party but just wanted tell you some secrets. (ok, no secrets, but stuff only patrons heard about). Kathy thought having Geoff as the perfect man was too obvious at first. She knew those of us who’d recognize her would easily call it. It was going to be Layne. Look at the picture in the book - that’s a caricature of Layne, not Geoff. The guys talked her out of that. Secondly - the planned twist ending was changed because Layne forgot to get a shot. At the very end, Kathy’s eyes were supposed to do the “koo koo” thing that Layne’s did earlier. She’s one of them. Lastly..what you were saying about Geoff’s looks but you weee kinda struggling to find the right words? Let me help you: Disney Prince. He looks like a real life Disney Prince. (But talks and sings like a villain).
