This was so beautiful to watch. Thank you so much Huldra. My grandparents met at 13 & 14 years old, married at 18 & 19, and were married for 72 years before we lost my grandma at age 90. We lost gramps only 6 months later. We knew he wouldn't last long without his heart. Geoff & Kathy remind me of them & the love they shared. My husband & I have been together since 1987, we met in college, and I hope we'll have many more years together.

Folks, THIS is what you want in a relationship. She makes his eyes shine brighter, and he makes her smile gleam. They harmonize. I paused and thought about it. I've spent every December with my husband since 1997. I had just turned 18, he would turn 20 later that month. We played in a band together, performing all across California, we even played at the Hollywood Bowl. He later invited me to join another band he was in, "Hey, we need a trombone," and sometimes I would be the one to invite him, "Hey, we could use another trumpet, wanna join?" Now, we joke that we're a "two for one deal" and only join bands if we can both be together. (In fact, we have a Christmas gig tomorrow.) Altogether, our families are made up of EIGHT different religions, so we get many holidays in December: Hanukkah, Christmas, Yule, Diwali, Bohdi Day, plus his birthday. Every year is brighter than the last.

They truly are wonderful together. And you know it has to have been hard at times when VoicePlay was touring or they were being pulled in different directions by the demands of their careers. But they make it seem simple. It can’t be easy. It takes work but it’s worth it!

I'm sure it has been straining at times. It helps that both of them were used to their life being like this since before they even were in a relationship, it was all they ever knew and both knew it was going to continue being like that going forward. But now they've gotten a taste for the family life at home, and I'm sure they're enjoying every little moment of it in between their 2 full time jobs 😅
