Such a great live performance. This is one of my favorites from when I was a kid. Bun E Carlos is one of the reasons I became a drummer.

I remember watching this live (yeah, I'm pretty old) on German TV. Elvis Costello, Kid Creole and the Coconuts (seriously), and Bryan Adams opened, so it was a pretty long night. This wasa before Bryan Adams went sappy and he totally kicked ass as the lead-in for Cheap Trick.

I really love the song and the band, but damn... Nielsen plays the rhythm so damned loud that nothing else can be heard. The cut from the "Dream Police" is so sweet with its Gibson ES guitar played nice and clean until the solo.

Great performance by Robin & Rick -- applause seems pretty modest, though .... hmmm (?)

I agree, spot on performance !!! I question the validity of the crowd. Maybe they did some post production stuff. Or the crowd had no pulse or they were going to be whipped if they cheered ? ha
Bun E. trying to rock out - Robin doing his best to slow the damn thing down.

Is this what Peter Frampton was listening to when he wrote "Show Me The Way?" Or, perhaps he was given the words from "on high?" Meanwhile, Starbuck gets the gig.

I am a Big cheap trick fan , Although the live Germany show of Voice's ..whew I would be PISSED if my drummer playing it at the speed he is!!? Luv Bun Carlos ..p.s. maybe he had to be some where & In a HURRY...?
@marial.rapaglia40415 жыл бұрын
WHY? is he drumming too fast? seems perfect drumming.
@therealfronzilla4 жыл бұрын
His drumming a step faster was their secret ingredient for their live shows.
