We shall never forget the sacrifices these greatest generation made. Many fought in ww2 and Korea. These will always be the true heroes. The government may want us to forget the sacrifices for our freedom. You never stop fighting for freedom. Preserving this history is a key part. Thanks and God bless Larry! CPT Fallon will always remain a hero forever now.

So well said and heartfelt, Trey. Thank you. You get it. You understand the importance of these older Veteran stories and how we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them and their sacrifices. I bet every Vietnam Veteran I have interviewed would feel the same way about our WWII and Korean Veterans. It is sad to me how the WWII and Korean stories don't receive near the amount of attention as my Vietnam stories on the KZbin channel. I believe it should be the other way around. I still have hundreds of WWII and Korean stories in my archives.

@VoicesofHistory ww2 and Korea stories always are incredible in my opinion. I have hundreds of memoirs of veterans surviving those wars. I could read and listen to their stories all day. It's an honor to hear each one. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the Vietnam stories just as much. But the ww2/Korea veterans will always be my main role models.
