I personally just pile the solid trash into various larger piles around the facility for when I have extra points for bags. Also, seeing the transformer near Romeo (TR_2) have THAT much trash nearly gave me a heart attack because that isn't what it looks like in my game I'm pretty sure.

Happy to see a continuation of the series! So, you can actually clean those trash piles by right-clicking them while holding "trash bag roll". After that, order a container (in essentials tab) and fit as many filled trashbags into it as you can. Then call a drone to pick that up and get a good bit of money! Additionally, you can use a sponge to clean grime stains. LMB on water source and then hold RMB over the stains until it all clears and you don't hear a "sponge" noise anymore. That, plus you can take a bucket, fill it with water and use that to refill your sponge. Also, best to store your food in the fridge, else you'll get cockroaches. On the other hand, you can probably eat them too...

The good thing about this game and maybe a bad one for most people - is that this game requires you to take some time and patience with signals and events. Sometimes you play for 4-5 hours non-stop and witness only one event and some interesting signal, but at other times you have a rollercoaster of things happening only in 1 hour. You literally can't forcefully trigger most of the events, because a bigger than half of them are random. So take you're time and clean your "new home" if you are bored :D

The symbols in particular are describing the value of Pi, the diameter, radius and surface area of a circle as well as Pythagoras' Theorem. ​@@d4n737 My understanding is translating a constructed language like Lincos doesn't require any cultural knowledge that English and the Latin Alphabet might. Pythagoras' Theorem and the value of Pi are used because, as far as we know, they are mathematical constants if you exist in a 3 dimensional plane of existence. If an alien species can receive the signal, chances are they have a concept of mathematics so they'll be able to translate the math into whatever system they use and understand the message. It does make the assumption that an alien species counts using Base 10.

I tuned in and out of the first episode for background ponderings while I wrote, but I paid more attention for this episode, and I must say, the aesthetic of this game is _remarkable. Absolutely captivating._ In its every moment, this game radiates an atmosphere of total _hostility._ There's never a moment of safety-not when you're in your base of operations, _presumably_ alone; not when you're out and about in broad daylight; not even when you're doing so little as the basics of your job are you exempt from any random article of sudden and very incessant _discomfort._ At any moment, a sound could come from outside, or from your computer, or _directly behind you,_ and even if there is _never_ anything there, that does _not_ stop the _notion._ The pure essence of the mind's protective instinct screaming _what if there was? What would you do? What could you do?_ It's all so excellently contrasted by the monotony of boring minutia-the endless hours of eye-glazing busywork that, by their very nature, _insist_ that you let your guard down. The game _needs_ the tedium, because the essence of the game would not _function_ without the tedium. All of that's not even to _speak_ of the _intelligent machinations._ Every night it becomes clearer. There's something out there.

As someone that tries to keep up with the actual game lore, It's genuinely really charming to hear you come up with your own for your playthrough. It makes it even more enjoyable :v Edit: Regarding food: There's now food fatigue, that's why the MREs aren't doing as much. I don't think it's particularly implemented well just yet, being that those are the most common food item you can Find, but I've had good results with pizza and the cake, lots of uses. You can also microwave certain foods for extra food points. Also you can check the transformer levels and target them with the console just like you would the satellites. :)

Here's another tip: the satellite calibration and energy consumption *do* play a role here. The less calibrated your satellites are, the slower your downloads are. The higher your energy consumption, the slower your downloads and processing are. Turning off things you are not using at the moment (such as lights, coordinates, and playing of signals) actually does help.

Shrimp and Pizza seem to be the best bang-for-your-buck food items. As for the sounds you're hearing, look around, maybe something has fallen onto the ground... And the doors do close by themselves, but they will stay open forever if there is an object in the way. I noticed there was some trash in the range of the doors, so make sure to clean up!

i really hope this becomes a series. the amount of content in this game is crazy considering it's just a free demo. btw, you can upgrade the radar so it beeps every time there's a new entity and you can upgrade it so the blips have colors based on what they are (blue for objects like cameras, yellow for the player, red for entities). a digital map is also useful so you can see the exact coordinates you're at. don't use the toilet or fall down the ladder at 3:33am :)

Also, you can copy saved signals from the computers "signal" category by pressing copy, and importing it from the console to a new drive, then you can process signals and keep the lower level signals too.

Hey Librarian, I think you should play Firewatch! You play as a park ranger / a person who looks out for fires. It has simular creepy comfy vibes, more creepy though. It is a kind of horror that feels like it could actually be real.

if you look outside besides the garage, youll find some old trash bins you can put small trash in. for the big piles, you need to hold a garbage bag and right click them. there are some free ones under a table but youll need to order a lot more. and i suggest ordering the mop item at the bottom of the store page, its way easier at cleaning the walls and floors than the sponge in your bathroom. speaking of the store, why not buy some decorations to spruce up your base? you can even add custom files on some items, though youll have to add those to the assets folder yourself first. finally, theres some secret plushies you can find scattered in the world, if you find a shovel you can dig for treasure with a metal detector, and also some hidden commands for the console...

The natural sounds of the work enviroment that can be mistaken to something else is personal... The factory I work at is always noisy and during nightshift, some noises sounds like people chatting nearby. Terrible when you know that you should be alone... Food and hunger works on a taste system, eat the same foods over and over and it loses value. You need to alternate your food sources so you don't end up wasting meals, I've done that with my stash of MREs too

Honestly excited to see a series on this game! Its one of those weirdly comfy games even with the horror elements but some advice with the ATV, letting go of the gas and coasting down hill actually saves fuel (or atleast I think it still does) and as dumb as this sounds theres actually things that correlate to the time 3:33am. Food heals you less and less the longer it stays outside of the fridge. Keeping food in the fridge will keep their healing value high. I find that pizza is the best food in this game, it gives you food _and_ stamina back, just like the gibs during the _event._

The reason the MREs are now bad is because of food tolerance. Its a new mechanic dr.nose added to make people not stack on one food, but it only made MREs the worst food item in the game. Sushi and burgers are probably the best cheap food you can buy, sushi can get you 90 hunger if you microwave it for 60 seconds, but it does get eaten if you leave it outside of a storage and i don't mean the fridge. Another good food choice is pizza since it gives you alot of hunger back, has multiple uses, costs 40 points and you don't have to leave it in fridge. Extra: You can buy trashbags and you get 2 and a roll in the garage by default. This is so you can get the trash and THEN you throw it on the garbage bin, you can also sell the trash by using the item box and get rich.

saved signals can be re uploaded from the computer and upgraded then sold, so in the case you need a level 0 now but want to upgrade it later, just save it and make a copy. Also the doors arent not closing on their own, there's just objects in the way

Loving seeing you warm up more and more to the game! Here's some types that will make it life easier in the long run You can zoom in to look at far away things with x If you wanna get the base looking more tidy, you can use garbage bags to pick up all the piles of trash (ones that you used to climb on) they are pretty cheap in the shop and you have a few under the table next to the table that had the empty drives next to the garage. Be careful tho because the bags can break if handled roughly Also yes buy a box to sell items and shove ALLLL the garbage you can in it and send it off, gives a lot of points for earlyish game, even empty containers like the food boxes and fuel cans, make sure to put at least like I believe 4 items a box tho to gain a profit otherwise you lose profit Food works differently in this update, the dev is testing out a sort of "sanity" system with the food that's WIP, but basically you need to rotate what you eat, the more you eat the same thing the less effective it is (it's why the MRE's started not even feeding you well) On the subject of food, food needs to be preserved/some need heating in the microwave (fyi, they have plugs you need to plug into an outlet, can't miss them, also don't feel like you HAVE to have the fridge and microwave in the bedroom, if you wanna move them you can, you just need places to plug them, you'll see some outlets around the base if you look) Before you upload data into a drive after it's down downloading, always play it at least a moment to make sure you don't miss anything as a general rule of thumb, 9/10 you'll hear something odd immediately (especially do this if the object is... Strange) To clean the grime off the floor, you can use the sponge that's in the shower and sip it in water and rub it on the area, works both by equipped in hand and just holding it, i believe it's left click on water, then right click hold on area if you equip it (also if you dip the bucket in water it holds water now, so you can carry that around to use to do so if you want) Youve probably noticed but fixing servers give 5 points each now Those CDs you come across can be used to make servers stay stable for longer periods of time, the gold ones being the best ones, just hold it to the slot and it will slide in Inventory works similar to a source engine game now where you can use your number keys to pull up items quicker, I'd also take another look in keybinds for other shortcuts that can make ur life less of a hassle Also back at that crater with the argemia plushie, you can carry her in your inventory, also you can drive your ATV out of the hole I believe, tho save right before just in case that might have changed, but I'm like 90% certain you can drive out That's all the hints I can think of that arnt spoiler or easteregg, I'm sure others will tell you how to do some of those very soon... Just save before you do some of those things btw, just in case

I think the reason the shrimp pack gave SO MUCH hunger was because of a nutrition mechanic or something. Maybe the MREs started doing less because you ate them so much? Try stocking up on a couple bits of food and rotate through them.
