I love how in the real video the cowboy shoots and breaks the bottles, then a couple of times he shoots and the bottle doesn't break, and he looks surprised. Then he walks up and angrily wipes the bottle off the fence with his arm. It looks like this vid at 6:49 to 7:03 explains how this came about: the yellow box triggering device for the bottle breaker apparently malfunctioned, and the Director kept the "malfunction" as part of the "Bit".😄

One of their items is the 7-Layer Burrito, because it supposedly has 7 layers of beans, cheese, beef, etc. The whole song is Les being whimsical and naughty with double entendres because he doesn't like writing lyrics at all and that sort of thing amuses him. To say a beaver (a vagina) "smells like 7 layers" is to insinuate that Wynona has a stinky vagina that smells like a bean and beef burrito. Or... possibly, it literally means that Wynona's pet beaver enjoys eating at Taco Bell (as Les's lovingly hand-drawn illustrations in the music video suggest... no, not kidding, he drew those).
