Moved to Scotland 2 yrs ago Allen, the property had a Vokera Linea 35HE fitted, We changed all the rads and power flushed for the pipes then had a Magnaclean fitted and it's never missed a beat since. Until we moved I'd never heard of Vokera but our local gas engineer swears by them! As long as he's happy he can come and look at ours every 12mths, But tbf its on light-duty use, mainly for HW since the log burner went in last year.

I like it ,I've seen one in the merchants on a breakfast morning . The only thing which I couldnt work out is the wiring . I like to use a 5 core cable to wire the external controls . The connections are in an unusual place under the boiler . You can have the best of both worlds with this boiler ,fantastic hot water flow rate and it can be range rated for the heating .

Good informative video. My dad used to fit vokeras going back to the open flued dc turbo combi. I moved away from vokeras a few years ago after problems with heat exchangers failing on a few of our installs and on boilers fit by other firms that would not go back to the job. If you have a good relationship with vokera tell them to get out and see the Installers and do sales mornings in the merchants and restore installers faith in vokera as I can never remember seeing a vokera rep.

If you are building a partnership with Vokera, can you do a review and installation of one of their rear flue models (Vision Plus 30C for example)? It would possibly be an ideal replacement for old heat only boilers in flats, allowing the engineer to use the old flue hole in the wall and potentially still get the height on the wall to fit the unit in a kitchen cupboard. I have considered using one for such purposes, but don't want to purchase one and find it doesn't quite fit.

Yes, all our current boilers do but to get system pressure on the room thermostat and on the app you'll need the Vision Plus or evolve ranges as they have pressure transducer, the other have a simple switch that cannot determine actual pressure

I've never understood the 💩 vokera get... loved fitting Compact 29A's ... going on 8 Years since installation and I've had two faults to date out of atleast 12 boilers. 1. Expansion Vessel needed recharging on 1 boiler... I'd have recharged a worcester or vaillant 3 or 4 times by now. 2. Vokera 1st Gen RF Stat broke... so not really a boiler fault. Keep going Vokera 👍

@vulcancontinental4 жыл бұрын
If you're looking for the more common layout there is this Vision Plus range and also look for the Compact A DIN model in Toolstation. The easiheat is a version of that. The Compact has rear flue and different valves but is what the easiheat was derived from.

Looks like a decent boiler with nice access to all the parts. The internal drain off to purge the heat exchanger is good but if its required after a drain down and a non registered plumber is working on the system then it could cause them a headache. Also that pressure gauge located under the boiler, not a great idea for when the boilers is installed low down where visibitly for the householder will be poor. Considering the size of the plate, 14.2lpm on the hot water is good but not as good as alot of other brands with the same kw rating. Personally though for around an extra £250 - 300 id rather fit a baxi 836, and get 3 more years warranty a filter and nearly 1lpm extra hot water. Overall not bad but id most likely only fit them for a landlord who doesn't want to pay the extra.

The pressure gauge is in a useless position unless it's repeated in the display. Ideal moved theirs on the Logic in response to criticism. I owned a Linea 28 for ten years. The diverter was the only thing that failed. I'd just say that I try to buy stuff made in the UK, providing it's good enough of course. Why export other people's work ?

Blimey a vokera boiler you would not expect Allen Hart to be fitting one of these! The last time I remember this brand was in the 1980s when British Gas used them in their thousands ! I think they were green and white? I don’t remember the model number now or name do any guys remember them?? They weren’t a bad boiler But there weren’t many Combi brands around in them days.I remember changing the fans on them they were screwed on top with a load of Philips screws.
