As I am now 58 years I think this is so cool and I get this warm yummy feeling when I look at the kids faces and huge smiles I can only imagine if David Bowie or Yes or Emerson Lake and Palmer would have called me and some of my friends on stage I would have shit my pants right then and there and I probably would not have known what to do !!! I lived a block away at the time, I snuck in to this show, stood outside asking for cigs n change from all the scared suburban kids. I've snuck into the masonic 3 times that summer for shows. straight thru. I think it's just to please the fans. They're just trying to be nice, not every band does this type of thing. Showing appreciation by letting them go on stage and stuff. Yeah, it can be a little weird with kids dancing around at a metal concert, but I think there's no harm intended.
