I'm almost 61 years old. a couple of days ago my 14 year old grandson and I were driving to the local Lowe's. The devils bleeding crown came on the radio and Conner said to me "papa I heard this song the other day and I thought you would like it. this freaking group is awesome and my new go to group. I guess he's paid me back for turning him on to Pink Floyd.

I just discovered these guys about 6 months ago and I can’t get enough of them. Fucking love Volbeat! Where the hell have they been?! I’m 56 and I haven’t gotten this excited about a band since Metallica came on to the scene. But I grew up with them so it’s different. I just came across these guys on Pandora one day. I know one guy at work that’s heard of them. Otherwise I just get a blank stare when I ask if they’ve heard of Volbeat. I don’t recall any radio play either. Anyway I crank these guys up everyday now. Just had to share some thoughts. It just baffles me that I’ve never of them before

This one of those bands that somehow have slipped under my radar, only started listening to them recently. I think to classify them only as a 'metal band' would be a bit unfair, as I think they are much more than that as I can hear a fusion of metal, punk rock and old school rock 'n roll in many of their songs. Not many bands have gone this route and been able to pull it off so well as Volbeat

This solo is great, as the one above said, it fits the song and not just shredding. Gennerarly i disslike guitarr solos but of course there are exceptions. Im glad that Volbeat don't overuse shredding solos, sadly they ruined Ecotone with such a horrible solo, but otherwise they usually make great solos!

Y'all want these guys in the rock an roll hall of fame, but this song is literally nickleback - burn it to the ground, sped up, with new lyrics, if plagiarism is the way to the rock an roll hall of fame then yeah man I stand by your point
@Danger11007 Жыл бұрын
@@The_Juggalo_Joker the intro and rhythm segments are pretty similar, but let’s keep in mind here. It’s not like progression of the song is at all complex. I find it more likely that one of volbeats members heard the nickleback track and without even realizing it regurgitated it into a new song. Also keep in mind that sampling of or borrowing aspects of other songs is a very common aspect in the industry Especially in hiphop and pop. I don’t think it should be forbidden to do the same in rock. Although maybe a bit more taboo. This song changes it up enough to feel and work as a whole new product in my opinion. I agree that it’s not rock and roll hall of fame worthy, but plagiarism? Idk man. I’ve accidentally stolen progressions from other songs hundreds of times while writing. And sometimes without even realizing.

All of the best Metal, Punk, and Hard Rock Bands are coming from all over Scandinavia and when I say that I truly mean an extremely wide variety of styles of Rock. There are so many amazingly Badass Bands from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and places close by like Finland. Volbeat is one of them and I love these guys!
@mikethomas60514 жыл бұрын
Think thats because in uk, usa the bands are now too underground and rap,pop,hip-hop,grime etc is now mainstream, in the Scandinavian areas rock is only now catching up, which is fucking awesome, lets hope it sparks a revival!

Volbeat, tiene un reff de poca madre. La primera ves que lo escuche, sentí ese power que siempre me a gustado en los grupos de rock, la mejor música del mundo mundial🤟🏻

Just feel good music that hits you when you need it to… Great instruments & great lyrics… If you actually listen to the song it can relate in many ways. Hoping they come out with some new music 🤞

Good and solid song from Volbeat yet again. I LOVE this video, and the vibe within it -The tribute to King Diamond with the Conspiracy-album was nice ;)

Heard this in 2016 and loved it. Time went by and it was still in my head but for the life of me I couldn’t think of the title. I finally figured it out and I can rest
