Volcano Ash Affecting Other Caribbean Islands | TVJ News

While St. Vincent continues to be impacted by the volcanic eruptions from the La Soufrière volcano other Caribbean islands are also being affected in Barbados, the Grantley Adams International Airport has been ordered closed until six tomorrow morning because of the ash fall.

I do gardening in Trinidad & Tobago and I know how useful ash is to the soil where agriculture is concerned. I was wondering if St. Vincent could not capitalize on this by exporting this ash for organic agriculture after the event of course. 💨

They're fighting to survive the eruptions for now. I doubt they have the resources to even do so. The prime minister could've done way more to protect the people of the island...but that's how it goes i guess.

Your right, volcanoes bring-up minerals from deep underground that enrich the soils on the surface. I think David Attenborough presented a documentary about the _Serengeti_ in Kenya a few years ago where he described this in detail.

Pray For The Prime Minister, keep him in Your prayers. Because he does not look well. His eyes alone shows he is not well rested, and this volcano problem is heavy on his heart. He is very concern for the people.
