Going off the songs from the original mine there is no reason why this music needs to slap this hard. I love the original tracks from the village mine but this retro sounding track gives me the same experimental vibes as final fantasy 7 and 8s sound track. Makes me miss those old tracks sense most modern stuff is all orchestral music that frankly over the years just sounds the same. where as a lot of tracks from older games that sounded so experimental partially do to hardware and budget limitations over the years have become their own sound and so unique compared to modern game music. Like example being the older pokemon music from between the ruby and sapphire generations all the way up to black and white had some. Lest games like pokemon still try to keep some of that old flair if nothing else via bringing back older songs.
