Voli in LoR strikes me as him at his worst and lowest. He’s scared of vulnerability, of being forgotten, of loss. So he’d rather tear it all away himself. He reminds me of Omniman from Invincible in some ways. All-powerful godlike being that would rather tear down everything he truly cares about than risk uncertainties.

He's not supposed to be as villainous as these lines depict him, like yea he is a villain but he's not like a typical villain in the theoretical sense. In his league lines he clearly regrets killing Ornn or Anivia, some of his lines are generally followed up with either self doubt or regret. This is missing that nuance.

Considering that: 1) New voice lines will have to be recorded in all languages LoR supports (there are 15) 2) Voice actors are expensive 3) LoR budget was cut it's unlikely new lines for existing champions will be recorded. US Actor's strike potentially expanding to video games doesn't help either...

Also volibear aka valhir hasn't weakened that much since he fought ornn many times, ending in a stalemate most of the times expect when he basically won by killing ornn's followers.
