Holly Molly I don't think I've ever seen an engine blow up like that in a Volkswagen , Volkswagens usually just throw a piston or something simple I'm shocked it granated that whole engine,, you got something better now buddy that's a nice oil pump..

Right on David I run the same bearings on my putter rods for the street my aluminum ones and I also run Sean gears black hardened lifters because you have to he's the best quality machine work that sucks the motor blew up man that's a lot of money gone hope the heads are salvageable

Can you tell us what size primary and secondary jets you ended up with ? And what size power valve in the carb.

77 84 stock jetting actually. Stock 4.5 power valve. All comes down to boost level and AFR. Definitely could’ve dropped a few jet sizes, but off the shelf is a good starting point.

You needa get a torque meister to deal with those gland nuts. Can spin them off with a 3/8th no problem.

@@volkstroke was my favorite tool as a kid. when I was like, 12, my dad's friend ask him to use it and couldn't figure out how to use it and asked my dad for help. My dad sent me to do it to be a bit of a dick about it lmfao (literally so easy to use a kid could do it)
