Ooohhh that thing sounds GOOD!!!!! Sounds like one of the vee-dubs out at the dragstrip getting ready to make a pass. Those carbs are throaty!!! I have a set of 48s and a set of 51.5s and I'm getting eager to run them after watching this.

Love the videos man! How reliable is an engine at this spec for the street and some occasional track use? How much compression does this engine have? How do genuine webers compare with the empi knockoffs? Thanks again keep up the great work

Genuine is the only way cheap ones suck and pop a lot Reliability comes from the quality of the work not so much the size or that crap We try the best to make them so they will go anywhere and be ok Doesn’t even have a external cooler The engine is at 10.1 and the car is street driven every weekend to shows and events and meets it’s a street car that gets miles out in the hills too

Good video! I saw you ended up at 32 deg for timing, did you mess with the distributor bushings to change initial timing at idle? Any spring changes for an engine like this?
