So sensor 1 is actually the landba sensor? The black connector near the orange and brown ones?? Tia

Good call mate! Those temp sensor readings on the scan tool can throw you. I had a Captiva (Craptiva) with 3 sensors shown and only #1 & #3 were there. #2 didn't exist. Just to make our lives more interesting! 😒

They are just trying to make it hard for us right? 🤣

lovely feature on the pico for resistance check. is it available on every pico? or just the new 4425?
@romanosautomotive2 жыл бұрын
Yes its great when the Pico is already set up. Unfortunately the lead and option is only available on the 4425A

Top work mate do you know in the chrysler voyager 2.8 crd RT if they go into re-gen mode while only in manual mode on the transmission . I think the pcm needs to see these parameters Over 2500rpm Manual mode Atleast 100km/r Drive for 30min ????

I don't know that model but I would assume it would still regenate in normal automatic if you were at the right speed in a gear that was around that mark. Is this a car you own?
@akaitv66062 жыл бұрын
@@romanosautomotive yes it is , most mechanics hate them but I find it ok to work on , there only weak link is the reverse clutch pack in auto very weak, designed for a car half it weight . I rebuilt my last chrysler voyager trans reverse clutch blew up while reversing up a hill full loaded .

I just did 2 of these in the past 2 weeks. One was faulty post DPF sensor (orange plug) , one was faulty manifold sensor (black plug) Post dpf sensor was a bitch to get to.
@kylejeffrey38942 жыл бұрын
One was all good with the dpf, the other had a calculated fill value too high to regen, but measured value was only 1/2 full so i had to reset it to do a regen.

Do you get a lot of Amaroks your way?

I have the same problem on my Amarok. my OBD scanner is not as detailed as yours, but I have two fault codes for exhaust temp sensor.. my car has been in constant regen it feels like for months now, and i have thought it was the DPF that was blocked.. can a faulty sensor trick the car into thinking the dpf is blocked? I have bought sensor 3 and 4 for the dpf and hopefully this will fix my problem.. i do not want to buy a new dpf lol.

Sorry for the delay Andreas, did you get this sorted?
@andreasgaming6712 Жыл бұрын
I have not had time to look at it, and my new employer provides a free to use company car, so I have not really used the Amarok in a while, im going to sort it out and sell it soon, i was just curious if a faulty sensor could trick the car into thinking it needs to be in regen :) I have bought new sensors, just have not been able to swap them yet ☺️

I know the feeling of not having time but yes, faulty sensors can create havoc for the DPF system. Good luck!
