Yeah POR 15 is great, used it myself I would definitely use it on the inner fenders and floors for sure as we all know how those rust in Mk1 and 2. Even if your floors are good and rust free its a great prevention product to use as you said. Keep up the great work.

@@MysteryGarage LOL I just did. Watchung the entire series from the beginning. I cant wait to hear that ABF fire up. One of my favorite engines, and on carbs non the less. Just finished watching part 1 build. I assume you on west coast, I see you working with your garage door open in mid December, got to be in BC, haha. Awesome work on saving all those MK1s.

Loved your "tackle that job" comment. As I stare into the 3rd week of repairing "inner sills" on the kid's project car. After that, rusted out fuel filler door aperture. If you just make a point to do one little thing per day; even if it's only 30 mins of effort, you'll get the feeling of momentum. Otherwise, they tend to turn into parts shelves.

I just scooped an 82 rabbit pickup and it has rust on the crossmember where the A arm bolts on the front. Know anyone that makes patch pieces or will I be making something myself?
