You're welcome! Those connectors on most of the vehicles are more hassle than anything else. Every car has it differently

Not sure about that one on a VW. You might not have all the necessary wires / fuses for a power seat. But it might work

Great video! The driver seat in my 2010 VW New Beetle won’t click into the rail I think the clip that is supposed to secure the seat broke. So if I brake too hard or am down hill and brake the seat moves forward. Huge safety issue! I’m wondering if I need to replace the seat itself or the seat rails underneath. Any advice? Thanks 😊

For more info the seat does move front to back easily and I can still recline it back and forward.

Hmmm I don't have this car anymore so can't say for sure, but I think it should be doable. Part you would need is called seat frame I think. You're safest bet would be to completely remove seat from the car and inspect it. Then see how it looks and if it can be separated

The seat in my 2006 VW beetle won't move forward or backwards any more like when I pull the handle nothing happens and it feels loose any idea what hqppened

Probably the handle or mechanism disconnected or broke. You will have to inspect the seat underneath. Or just remove it, then it will be much easier to see what is happening
